The 2024 World Rally-Raid Championship is the third season of the annual competition for rally raid events sanctioned by both the FIA and FIM. The Amaury Sport Organization is in the third of a five-year contract to promote the championship. [1] [2]

Calendar

The calendar for the 2024 season features five rally-raid events. The prestigious Dakar Rally once again hosted the opening event, with the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge, Desafio Ruta 40, and Rallye du Maroc events returning to the calendar. [3] The Portugal-based BP Ultimate Rally-Raid would be added to the schedule. [4] [5]

The FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas is a baja rally series organized by the FIA, culminating with a champion driver, co-driver, and team; with additional trophies awarded to T3 and T4 drivers & teams.

The 2020 FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies was set to be the 28th season of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies; an annual rally raid competition for cars, buggies, side-by-sides, and trucks held in multiple countries. Due to COVID-19 pandemic all events but one were cancelled, and FIA considered that only one event wasn't enough to award a World title and cancelled the season.


The 2021 FIA WRC3 Championship was the eighth season of WRC3, a rallying championship organised and governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile as the third-highest tier of international rallying. It was open to privately entered cars complying with Group Rally2 regulations. The championship began in January 2021 with the Rallye Monte-Carlo and concluded in November 2021 with Rally Monza, running in support of the 2021 World Rally Championship.


The 2021 FIA Junior WRC Championship was the ninth season of Junior WRC, a rallying championship governed by the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, running in support of the World Rally Championship. The championship was open to drivers under the age of thirty—although no such restriction existed for co-drivers—competing in identical one-litre Ford Fiesta R2s built and maintained by M-Sport. The championship began in April 2021 at the Croatia Rally.
