Lydia Valentín Pérez is a Spanish retired weightlifter, Olympic Champion, 2 time World Champion and 4 time European Champion competing in the 75 kg category until 2018 and 81 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. Lydia has won three Olympic Medals, two World Weightlifting Championships, as well as four European Weightlifting Championships.
The World Weightlifting Championships is an international weightlifting competition, currently held annually by the International Weightlifting Federation (IWF). The predecessor organization of the IWF was founded in 1905, but World Championship events began before its foundation. The first recognized World Championship event was held in 1891, and was won by Edward Lawrence Levy of England.
European Weightlifting Championships is an annual event organised by the European Weightlifting Federation (EWF). It has been held since 1896. A separate event for women was held from 1988 to 1997, after which both championships have been held as one event.
Gor Minasyan is an Armenian-Bahraini weightlifter, and two-time Olympic medalist competing in the super-heavyweight category.
Loredana Elena Toma is a Romanian weightlifter, two time World Champion and four time European Champion competing in the 58 kg and 63 kg categories until 2018 and 64 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories. She now competes at the 71kg category.
Arli Chontey is a Kazakhstani male weightlifter who competes in the -55 kg division. He won the gold medal in the men's 55 kg event at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
Mönkhjantsangiin Ankhtsetseg is a Mongolian weightlifter, competing in the 81 kg category and representing Mongolia at international competitions.
Yauheni Paulavich Tsikhantsou is a Belarusian weightlifter, World Champion and European Champion competing in the 94 kg category until 2018 and 96 kg starting in 2018 after the International Weightlifting Federation reorganized the categories.
Rasoul Motamedi is an Iranian weightlifter. He won the gold medal in the men's 102 kg event at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He also won a gold medal at the 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships in the 102 kg weight division.

Lesman Teodoro Paredes Montano is a Colombian-born Bahraini weightlifter who won a Gold medal at the 2021 World Championships. He represents Bahrain since July 2022. He also won the gold medal in the men's 96 kg event at the 2022 World Weightlifting Championships held in Bogotá, Colombia.
Tursunoy Jabborova is an Uzbekistani weightlifter. She won the silver medal in the women's 87 kg event at the 2021 World Weightlifting Championships held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and the bronze medal at the 2022 edition held in Bogotá, Colombia. She is also a three-time medalist, including two gold medals, at the Junior World Weightlifting Championships. Jabborova represented Uzbekistan at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, France.
The 2019 Oceania Weightlifting Championships took place at the Faleata Sports Complex in Apia, Samoa from 9 to 13 July 2019.
The 2022 World Weightlifting Championships was a weightlifting competition held in Bogotá, Colombia in December 2022. It was scheduled to be held in Chongqing, China but this changed in March 2022 as a result of COVID-19 measures in China. The new location was announced in April 2022. It was the first time Colombia hosted the World Weightlifting Championships.
The 2022 Junior World Weightlifting Championships were held in Heraklion, Greece, from 2 to 10 May 2022.
Siti Nafisatul Hariroh is an Indonesian weightlifter. She won the gold medal in the women's 45 kg event at the 2021 Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, Turkey.
The 2022 Asian Weightlifting Championships was held in Manama, Bahrain from 6 to 16 October 2022. It was the 50th men's and 31st women's championship.
Artyom Antropov is a Kazakh weightlifter, and Youth World Champion competing in the 96 kg and 102 kg categories. He won the gold medal in the 2017 Youth World Weightlifting Championships in the 85 kg event. He competed at the 2020 Asian Weightlifting Championships in the 102 kg category, and won a bronze medal in the total.
The 2023 World Weightlifting Championships was a weightlifting competition held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 4 to 17 September 2023.
