The 2024 Speedway of Nations will be the sixth edition of the Speedway of Nations, and 32nd edition of a pairs competition for national teams in motorcycle speedway. The competition will consist of three events, taking place at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester, England, between 9 July and 13 July 2024. The under-21 Speedway of Nations 2 will take place at the same venue on 12 July. [1] [2]

The 1978 Speedway World Team Cup was the 19th edition of the FIM Speedway World Team Cup to determine the team world champions.

The 2016 Monster Energy FIM Speedway World Cup (SWC) was the sixteenth FIM Speedway World Cup, the annual international speedway world championship tournament. It took place between 23 July and 30 July 2016 and involved nine national teams. It was won by Poland, the first time they achieved success since 2013, and the seventh time in total. They beat hosts Great Britain by seven points, while defending champions Sweden finished third with Australia in fourth.

The Speedway of Nations is a motorcycle speedway event for national teams, held each year in a different country. The first edition of the competition in the current format took place in 2018. It was the first time an official FIM international pairs competition was staged since the World Pairs Championship ceased in 1993. Australia are the current champions after winning in 2022. The Speedway of Nations was not held in 2023 due to the return of the Speedway World Cup, but will return to the speedway calendar in 2024 and 2025.

The 2019 Speedway of Nations was the second FIM Speedway of Nations. The competition consisted of two race-off events and a two-legged final. The event was won by Russia for the second consecutive year. They beat Poland in the Grand Final with Australia taking the bronze medal.

The 2021 Speedway of Nations was the fourth FIM Speedway of Nations. The competition consisted of two semi-finals and a final. The final was held on 16 & 17 October 2021 and was won by Great Britain, with Poland taking silver and Denmark bronze.

The 2024 Speedway of Nations 2 (SON2) is the 20th Team Under-21 World Championship season, organised by the FIM. The event will take place on 12 July 2024 at the National Speedway Stadium in Manchester, England.
