Sara Price (born September 2, 1992) is an American racing driver, having competed in motocross, rallying, the X Games, Stadium Super Trucks and Extreme E. [1]

Price has won 17 national motocross championships and she has medaled in the X Games. [2] She hails from Southern California and has been racing since the age of 8. [3]

Racing career

In 2010, Price became first female factory supported motocross racer to race for Monster Energy Kawasaki Racing. [4] Over the next few years, Price raced for Monster Energy Kawasaki and medaled several times at the X Games before transitioning to racing off-road. [4] [5] [6] Price placed first at the 2013 Elsinore Grand Prix and won the Terracross Championship in 2015. [7] [8]

In 2016, Price won the Off-road Motorsports Hall of Fame Rising Star Award in the UTV, MX, and ATV Category. [9]

Price made her debut in Stadium Super Trucks at the 2016 Honda Indy Toronto race weekend, becoming the first female driver to compete in the series. [1] The following year, she ran the season finale at Lake Elsinore Diamond. [10] Price did not return to the series until 2020, racing at the Adelaide 500 race weekend. [11]

In 2017, Price won Hoonigan and Fiat's Female Driver Search to become next female Hoonigan Athlete. [12] She also placed 38th place [13] at the Climb to the Clouds” at Mount Washington in a Fiat 124 Rally Car. [14]

Price made her debut in a trophy truck in the 2017 Best in the Desert Laughlin Desert Classic and placed second. [15]

In 2019, Price became the first female SCORE International Baja 1000 IronWoman by solo driving the entire race and finishing second in the trophy trucks spec class. [16] [17]

Price first raced rally in 2015 Rallye Aicha des Gazelles, finishing first among rookie participants. [18] [19] Price did not return to rally racing until 2020 when she placed second in the UTV Class at Sonora Rally. [20] [21]

On June 11, 2020, Chip Ganassi Racing announced Price would race with the team for the inaugural Extreme E season in 2021. She was the first confirmed driver for the series, and the first female racer in CGR's history. [22]

In 2024, Price made her debut in the Dakar Rally, driving in the SSV class. [23] In this race she became the third female driver and first female American driver to win a Dakar stage, by winning Stage 10. [24] [25]

Miss California USA

Price competed in the Miss California USA beauty pageant in 2013, but did not make the finals. [6] [26]

The Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series, also known as LOORRS, was a short course off-road racing series in the United States and also in Mexico beginning in 2015. The series featured events in Arizona, California, Nevada, Missouri and hosted a weekend of racing in Ensenada, Mexico at Baja International Short Course near Estero Beach. The title sponsor for the series was Lucas Oil Products, whom also owned, sanctioned, and operated the series. It effectively replaced the CORR series starting in 2009.

Cristina Gutiérrez Herrero is a Spanish dentist and rally raid driver. She became the first Spanish female car driver to finish the Dakar Rally in 2017 before winning the event in the T3 category in 2024. In 2021 she was the second woman to win a stage in Dakar Rally history. She participates in the Extreme E electric cross-country series, driving for Lewis Hamilton's Team X44. In 2021 she won the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies, becoming the first-ever female driver to win the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Rallies. In 2022 she won the Extreme-E Championship alongside Sébastien Loeb in Lewis Hamilton's Team X44, making her the first Spanish woman to ever win it. In 2022 she was the first Spanish female to reach the podium of the Dakar Rally, being the third classified in the T3 category. In 2023 Dakar Rally she finished in 4th position after having many issues in the first week that prevented her from fighting for the victory. Nonetheless, she won the prologue of the Dakar Rally and the last stage which allowed her to finish in 4th position. In 2024, Cristina made history by winning the challenger category in the Dakar Rally, becoming only the second woman in history to achieve this feat in the world's toughest rally. This accomplishment follows Jutta Kleinschmidt victory in 2001, 23 years prior, as the Dakar Rally continues to become more and more professionalized. She is also the first Spanish woman to ever win at the Dakar Rally. She also holds four Dakar Rally stage wins.

Kyle LeDuc was an American professional racing driver. He mainly competed in short course off-road truck racing, where he had seven Pro 4 class championships, six of which came in the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing Series (LOORRS), and over 100 career wins.

Ryan Beat is an American professional off-road racing driver. He competes in the Championship Off-Road Series, driving the No. 51 Pro 2 Chevrolet for his team Ryan Beat Motorsports.

William Hynes is an American professional auto racing driver and entrepreneur. He races full-time in the Stadium Super Trucks and has also competed in sports car and touring car racing. He is the founder and former CEO of United Fiber & Data, and has also overseen other business ventures such as Think Loud and 120 York.
