The 2014 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling was held from December 3 to 7 at the Encana Arena in Camrose, Alberta. It was the first time that Camrose hosted the Canada Cup, and the second time that Alberta hosted the Canada Cup, which was also held in Medicine Hat in 2010.

The 2002 Nokia Brier was the Canadian men's curling championship. It was held from March 9 to 17, 2002 at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta. It was won by the Albertan foursome headed by Randy Ferbey. Ferbey threw third stones throughout the tournament while his mate (third) David Nedohin threw skip stones. The other two members of the team were second Scott Pfeifer and lead Marcel Rocque.

The 2010 Canada Cup of Curling was held December 1–5, 2010 at the Medicine Hat Arena in Medicine Hat, Alberta. The Glenn Howard rink won their first Canada Cup on the men's side while Stefanie Lawton won her second cup. Glenn Howard's win marks the first time that a non-Alberta men's team won a Canada Cup.

The 2011 Capital One Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 30 to December 4 at the Cranbrook Recreational Complex in Cranbrook, British Columbia. The format for this year's competition was changed from the previous year. Instead of 10 men's and 10 women's teams in two pools of five each, there were seven teams of each gender competing in a round robin. The first place teams advanced to their respective finals, while the second and third place teams met in the semifinals. Capital One became the sponsor of the Canada Cup of Curling after a deal with the Canadian Curling Association to become the sponsor of the Canada Cup and the Pre-Trials Road to the Roar.

The 2012 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from February 4 to 12 at the Strathcona Paper Centre and the Napanee & District Curling Club in Napanee, Ontario. The winners, the Albertan teams skipped by Brendan Bottcher and Jocelyn Peterman, represented Canada at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships in Östersund, Sweden.

The women's tournament of the 2013 Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held from January 31 to February 10 at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park and at the Oilsands Curling Club in Fort McMurray, Alberta.

The 2014 Tim Hortons Brier was held from March 1 to 9 at the Interior Savings Centre in Kamloops, British Columbia.

The 2013 Canadian Open of Curling was held from November 13 to 17 at Medicine Hat Arena in Medicine Hat, Alberta as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. The event was the second men's Grand Slam event of the season. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was CAD$100,000.

The 2015 Tim Hortons Brier was held from February 28 to March 8 at Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.

The 2015 Canada Cup of Curling was held from December 3 to 7 at Revolution Place in Grande Prairie, Alberta. This was the first time that Grande Prairie hosted the Canada Cup, and the third time that Alberta hosted the Canada Cup, which was also held in Medicine Hat in 2010 and in Camrose in 2014.

The 2016 Humpty's Champions Cup was held from April 26 to May 1 at the Sherwood Park Arena Sports Centre in Sherwood Park, Alberta. This was the final Grand Slam event of the 2015–16 curling season and is the seventh men's Grand Slam and the sixth women's Grand Slam of the season. The teams were split into 3 round-robin pools of 5 teams each, and the top eight teams overall will qualify for the playoff round.

The 2017 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's national men's curling championship, was held from March 4–12, 2017 at the Mile One Centre in St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador.

The 2016 Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling was held from November 30 to December 4 at Westman Communications Group Place in Brandon, Manitoba.

The 2018 Home Hardware Canada Cup was held December 5–9 at Affinity Place in Estevan, Saskatchewan. The tournament winners qualified for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Pre-Trials.

The 2019 Home Hardware Canada Cup was held from November 27 – December 1 at Sobeys Arena in Leduc, Alberta. The tournament winners were the first qualifiers for the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.

The men's tournament of the 2019 Canadian U18 Curling Championships was held from April 2 to 7 at the Glen Allan Recreation Complex and the Sherwood Park Curling Club in Sherwood Park, Alberta.

The 2021 Canadian Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from March 18 to 25 at the Markin MacPhail Centre at Canada Olympic Park in Calgary, Alberta. The winning pair of Kerri Einarson and Brad Gushue represented Canada at the 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland

The 2022 KIOTI Tractor Champions Cup was held May 3–8 at the Olds Sportsplex in Olds, Alberta. It is the fifth and final Grand Slam event of the 2021–22 curling season.

The 2022 Canadian U18 Curling Championships were held from May 1 to 7 at the Oakville Curling Club in Oakville, Ontario. The event was originally scheduled to be held February 14 to 20 in Timmins, Ontario, however, was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ontario.

The 2022 Everest Canadian Senior Curling Championships was held from December 4 to 10 at the Mariners Centre and the Yarmouth Curling Club in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The winning teams will represent Canada at the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships in Gangneung, South Korea.
