Maria Gripe, born Maja Stina Walter, was a Swedish author of books for children and young adults, which were often written in magical and mystical tone. She has written almost forty books, with many of her characters presented in short series of three or four books. For her lasting contribution to children's literature, she received the Hans Christian Andersen Medal for Writing in 1974.
Sandor slash Ida is a 2005 Swedish tragicomedy film which was released to cinemas in Sweden on 4 February 2005, directed by Henrik Georgsson, starring Aliette Opheim and Andrej Lunusjkin. It is based on the in Sweden best selling novel Sandor slash Ida by Sara Kadefors. It is one of a few Swedish youth movies from the 2000s.

It has been awarded by a jury led by the Swedish morning paper Svenska Dagbladet since 1925. According to its statutes the Medal may be awarded in November or December to either an individual sportsperson or a team. An individual can be awarded the Medal no more than twice, and to receive a second medal, that athlete must be "regarded a class of his own".

Are U 4 Real? is a Swedish young adult book written by Sara Kadefors. It was originally written as a script for a television drama, but after a Swedish television network turned it down, Kadefors got Bonnier Carlsen to publish it as a book in 2001. On 7 April 2009 it was revealed that the book would be released in the United States on 14 May 2009 with a new title, Are U 4 Real? The book is about a girl named Ida who lives in Stockholm and a boy named Sandor who lives in Gothenburg. The two sixteen-year-olds meet for the first time on an Internet chat room, where they eventually fall in love with each other. However, everything goes wrong when Sandor decides to visit Ida in Stockholm.
Jonas Hassen Khemiri is a Swedish writer. He is the author of six novels, seven plays, and a collection of essays, short stories and plays. His work has been translated into more than 25 languages. He has received the August Prize for fiction and a Village Voice Obie Award for best script. In 2017 he became the first Swedish writer to have a short story published in the New Yorker. Khemiri's novel The Family Clause (FSG) was awarded the French Prix Médicis and was a finalist for the National Book Award. Khemiri moved to New York in 2021 for a Cullman Fellowship at The New York Public Library and currently teaches in the Creative Writing program at NYU. In 2023 he was a Ben Belitt Distinguished Visiting Writer at Bennington College.
The Gender War is a documentary in two parts by journalist Evin Rubar on radical feminism in Sweden and its influence on Swedish politics. It was produced by Nordisk Film and broadcast by Sveriges Television in the series Dokument inifrån on 15 and 22 May 2005. The Gender War was also part of Evin Rubar being awarded the TV award Kristallen and Sveriges Television's equality award the same year.
Mikael Marcimain is a Swedish film and television director. Marcimain has primarily directed advertisements and television dramas, for which he has received several awards. Notable in his filmography are the serials The Laser Man and How Soon Is Now?, which were made with cinematographer Hoyte van Hoytema. Marcimain's first feature film, the political thriller Call Girl, was released in autumn 2012.

Sara Bergmark Elfgren is a Swedish writer and screenwriter. Her first novel, Cirkeln, and the sequels Eld (Fire) and Nyckeln, were written together with Mats Strandberg and published in 2011–2013. Cirkeln was an August Prize nominee in the youth literature category. The books have been translated into 25 languages.

Lo Marianne Kauppi is a Swedish film and theater actress, director, and television presenter. She suffered from drug addictions and an eating disorder in her early 20s but after undergoing treatment recovered and went on to forge a successful career in theater, including performances at the Royal Dramatic Theatre in Stockholm. Kauppi has also had several acting roles in Swedish films.
