Sarah Castle is an American Paralympic wheelchair basketball player and swimmer.
Castle was born in 1984 in Denver, Colorado. In 2002, she won a silver medal at Swimming World championships while in 2005 she won a gold one at the Americas Cup. She also got a gold medal at the Osaka Cup which was hosted at Osaka, Japan and was a two-time gold medalist at Parapan American Games in 2007 and 2011 respectively. Besides being a gold medalist in those events, she also won gold at IWBF World Championships in 2010 and was awarded another one at 2008 Summer Paralympics. Besides winning golds she also won another silver medal at IWBF World Championships in 2006 and got another silver at the 2000 Summer Paralympics for 100 metres (330 ft) breaststroke. Castle was also a four-time NCAA National Champion from 2002 to 2008 (except for 2005 and 2007 where she wasn't awarded that honour). [1]
Carlee Hoffman is an American wheelchair basketball player from Cutlerville, Michigan. She plays the power forward position and was a gold medalist for the United States in the 2004 Summer Paralympics in Athens and in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing. Hoffman is a bilateral below-knee amputee.

Steven Dillon Serio is a wheelchair basketball player. As a co-captain of the USA Men's National Wheelchair Basketball Team, he led the American men to their first Paralympic gold medal since 1988 at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games and defended the gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics. He currently plays for the New York Rolling Knicks in the NWBA Championship Division.
The Australia women's national wheelchair basketball team is the women's wheelchair basketball side that represents Australia in international competitions. The team is known as the Gliders. The team hasn't won a gold medal for Australia since it began competing at the 1992 Summer Paralympics, however it has won either the silver or bronze medal since the 2000 Summer Paralympics held in Sydney. Gliders finished 6th at the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship but did not qualify for the 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Jeremy "Opie" Lade is an American Paralympic wheelchair basketball player and head coach from Oconto, Wisconsin. He was injured in a car accident at age 8, and attended his first wheelchair sports camp at the age of 13 at UW-Whitewater. He is a two-time Parapan American Games gold medalist in both 2007 and 2011. In 2002, he won a gold medal at IWBF World Championship and in 2006 won a silver one from the same place. Six years later, he was awarded a bronze medal for his participation at the 2012 Summer Paralympics and is currently employed as a head coach at the University of Wisconsin–Whitewater. From 2005 to 2008 he coached Milwaukee Wizards and led them to a Junior National Championship. In his spare time he likes to watch Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Bucks, and Milwaukee Brewers with Michael Jordan being his favorite athlete.
Nate Hinze is an American Paralympic wheelchair basketball player from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. He is a three-time Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball Champion and is 2010 IWBF World Championship bronze medalist. A year later, he was awarded a gold medal at the 2011 Parapan American Games and on 2012 Summer Paralympics he was awarded with another bronze medal. Besides playing sports he also likes to watch them with his favorite teams being the Green Bay Packers, Milwaukee Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers. He also likes to play videogames and jet ski. Currently he lives in Cedar Grove, Wisconsin and is a fan of Green Bay Packers and Michael Jordan.

He is a 2002 gold medalist at the IWBF World Championship and got a bronze medal in 2010 at the same place. A year later, he was awarded a gold medal at the 2011 Parapan American Games and on 2012 Summer Paralympics he was awarded with another bronze one. He was also a four-time NWBA Champion from 2008 to 2012. He has been the head coach of the University of Texas at Arlington Lady Movin' Mavs women's wheelchair basketball team since its establishment in 2013.
Nicholas Springer was an American Paralympic wheelchair rugby player and a four-time national champion, and gold medalist from New York, New York. In 2006 and 2010, he was awarded a gold medal for his participation at the World championships and in 2008 he won Canada Cup and got another gold that way. The same year Springer won a silver medal for his participation at the North American Cup and won a gold medal at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China. In 2012 he won his first bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in London. Besides rugby, he played hockey for 14 years. He was also an avid traveler and enjoyed outdoor activities and scuba diving. Springer died suddenly in 2021 at the age of 35 while swimming at a friend's house.
Shelley Cronau is a 3.0 point Australian wheelchair basketball player. She was part of the Australia women's national wheelchair basketball team (Gliders) line up at the Osaka Cup in Japan in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Toronto in June 2014. She was captain of the Minecraft Comets team that won the Women's National Wheelchair Basketball League (WNWBL) championship title in 2014. The Minecraft Comets were named the Queensland Sporting Wheelies Team of the Year for 2014, and Cronau won the award for Sporting Wheelie of the Year. She represented the Gliders at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
Joy Haizelden is a 2.5 point British wheelchair basketball player who was the youngest player to represent Great Britain at the 2014 Women's World Wheelchair Basketball Championship in Toronto. She also went to Paris to compete at the 2024 Paralympics.
Ella Sabljak is an Australian 1.0 point wheelchair basketball and 2.5 wheelchair rugby player. She represented Australia at the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics in basketball and at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, she won a bronze medal in wheelchair rugby with the Steelers.
