Sarah Fimm is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, residing in Woodstock, NY. [1]
Fimm was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Her grandmother is a Holocaust survivor. [1] She toured and collaborated with singer Peter Murphy (of Bauhaus), and supported Delerium [2] in 2008. Her music has been featured on MTV's Real World/Road Rules, Mark Hamill’s Comic Book: The Movie , D.E.B.S. (soundtrack from the motion picture), [3] and the Lifetime channel, among others. Fimm's voice can be heard on Iggy Pops versions of Serge Gainsbourg’s ‘La Javanaise’ and ‘Et Si Tu N`Existais Pas’. Fimm plays piano, sings, and writes her own songs. [4] She has "received continual accolades from Rolling Stone and Billboard for her stellar songwriting." [5]
Billboard called A Perfect Dream (2002) an album that "contained a chilling, isolated beauty" and Nexus (2004) a "stunning celestial journey." [6] Billboard compared her work on A Perfect Dream to work by Tori Amos. [7] The Charleston Gazette echoed the comparison to Amos and wrote that Fimm is "not afraid to tell the world how she really feels." [8]
Her work on Near Infinite Possibility (2011) (produced by David Baron) shows influences from Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and Heart, [9] and featured musicians such as Josh Freese, [10] Brian Viglione, Earl Slick, Sterling Campbell, John Andrews and others.
Fimm has been involved in outdoor art installations through an initiative called Inspire Art. [11]
In 2015, with the help of music producer David Baron, two more albums came to fruition – Potnia Theron[ citation needed ] (2015) and Adaquarium (2015).[ citation needed ]
Given Never Offered (2018) [12] is her latest release. The album features producer David Baron, multi-instrumentalist Erik Lawrence, bassist Sara Lee, and drummer Ben Perowsky.

Tori Amos is an American singer-songwriter and pianist. She is a classically trained musician with a mezzo-soprano vocal range. Having already begun composing instrumental pieces on piano, Amos won a full scholarship to the Peabody Institute at Johns Hopkins University at the age of five, the youngest person ever to have been admitted. She had to leave at the age of eleven when her scholarship was discontinued for what Rolling Stone described as "musical insubordination". Amos was the lead singer of the short-lived 1980s pop group Y Kant Tori Read before achieving her breakthrough as a solo artist in the early 1990s. Her songs focus on a broad range of topics, including sexuality, feminism, politics, and religion.
Boys for Pele is the third studio album by American singer and songwriter Tori Amos. Preceded by the first single, "Caught a Lite Sneeze", by three weeks, the album was released on January 22, 1996, in the United Kingdom, on January 23 in the United States, and on January 29 in Australia. Despite the album being Amos's least radio friendly material to date, Boys for Pele debuted at number two on both the US Billboard 200 and the UK Albums Chart, making it her biggest simultaneous transatlantic debut, her first Billboard top 10 debut, and the highest-charting US debut of her career to date.

A Perfect Circle is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 1999 by guitarist Billy Howerdel and Tool vocalist Maynard James Keenan. A Perfect Circle released three of their four studio albums in the early 2000s: their debut Mer de Noms in 2000, a follow-up, Thirteenth Step in 2003; and an album of radically re-worked cover songs, Emotive, in 2004. Shortly after Emotive's release, the band went on hiatus; Keenan returned to Tool and started up solo work under the band name Puscifer, while Howerdel released a solo album, Keep Telling Myself It's Alright, under the moniker Ashes Divide. Band activity was sporadic in the following years; the band reformed in 2010, and played live shows on and off between 2010 and 2013, but fell into inactivity after the release of their greatest hits album, Three Sixty, and a live album box set, A Perfect Circle Live: Featuring Stone and Echo in late 2013. The band reformed in 2017 to record a fourth album, Eat the Elephant, which was released in 2018.

"Caught a Lite Sneeze" is a song by American singer-songwriter Tori Amos, released by Atlantic and EastWest as the first single from her third studio album, Boys for Pele (1996), on January 1, 1996. The song is about wanting to do anything to keep a relationship going, knowing that it is over. It references Nine Inch Nails's album Pretty Hate Machine in the lyrics "Caught a lite sneeze / Dreamed a little dream / Made my own pretty hate machine." On December 11, 1995, Atlantic made the song available for streaming on their website, one of the earliest examples of a major label implementing such a feature.

Sublime with Rome is a musical collaboration between Eric Wilson, formerly of the American ska punk band Sublime, and singer and guitarist Rome Ramirez. Icky Blossoms is an electropop trio formed in Omaha, Nebraska in 2011, bringing together singer/synth player Sarah Bohling and singer/multi-instrumentalists Derek Pressnall and Nik Fackler. The three became acquainted through the Omaha arts scene and Pressnall's sidebands Tilly and the Wall and Flowers Forever. In early 2012, Icky Blossoms signed to Omaha-based Saddle Creek, who released the band's self-titled, full-length LP on July 17, 2012. Produced by TV on the Radio multi-instrumentalist Dave Sitek, it is said to be an “album of sharp mechanical grooves and romantic attitude” by Spin magazine.

Mer de Noms is the debut studio album by American rock band A Perfect Circle. The album was released on May 23, 2000, and entered the Billboard 200 at No. 4, making it the highest ever Billboard 200 debut for a rock band's first album. It sold over 188,000 copies in the first week, and was certified platinum by the RIAA later that same year. Three singles were released in promotion of the album, "Judith", "3 Libras", and "The Hollow", all of which hit the top 20 of both the Billboard US Modern Rock and Mainstream Rock charts.
