Sardar Shah Nawaz (c. 1917– 11 January 1991;also known as S. Shahnawaz,was a Pakistani diplomat who served as the 14th foreign secretary of Pakistan from 1977 to 1980 and 9th permanent representative of Pakistan to the United Nations from 1982 to 1989.
He started his career when he joined the civil services of Pakistan in 1950. [2] Prior to his appointment at the UN and foreign ministry,he served as ambassador of Pakistan to Iran from 1968 to 1972. He was later appointed secretary-general of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 1980 to 1982. [3]
He was suffering from cancer and was admitted to a hospital in New York on 11 January 1991. He died on the same day in hospital. [2]
Mohammad Daoud Khan was an Afghan military officer and politician who served as prime minister of Afghanistan from 1953 to 1963 and,as leader of the 1973 Afghan coup d'état which overthrew the monarchy,served as the first president of Afghanistan from 1973 until he himself was deposed in a coup and killed in the Saur Revolution.

He rejoined Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf on 10 November 2017 during a press conference with Imran Khan in Lahore.

On 8 August 2016,terrorists attacked the Government Hospital of Quetta in Pakistan with a suicide bombing and shooting. They killed more than 70 people,mainly lawyers,and injured more than 130 others. The fatalities were mainly advocates (lawyers) who had assembled at the hospital where the body of Advocate Bilal Anwar Kasi,the president of the Balochistan Bar Association,was brought after he was shot dead by an unknown gunman. Responsibility for the attack has been claimed by various Islamist groups like Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and the Islamic State. Between 70 and 94 people were killed and over 120 injured. 54 of those killed were lawyers.

The Imran Khan government was the federal cabinet of Pakistan from 20 August 2018 to 10 April 2022. It was formed by Imran Khan following general elections on 25 July 2018,which saw the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf come to power. The cabinet had 34 federal ministers,7 ministers of state,10 Advisers to the Prime Minister and 35 Special Assistants to the Prime Minister (SAPM),most of whom assumed office on 20 August 2018. The government was dissolved on 3 April 2022 following the dissolution of the National Assembly of Pakistan by the President,Arif Alvi at the behest of the Prime Minister,Imran Khan. On 7 April 2022,the Supreme Court of Pakistan ordered the restoration of the Federal Cabinet and National Assembly. On 10 April 2022 the government was defeated in a Vote of No-confidence (VONC) against Imran Khan,leading to its subsequent dissolution.
