Sathyan Sooryan is an Indian cinematographer who predominantly works in Tamil and Telugu films. He is an alumnus of the College of Fine Arts, Chennai.
Sooryan was also an assistant to P. C. Sreeram. [2] He made his debut with Yuddham Sei (2011). In a review of the film by The Hindu , a critic noted that "Cinematographer Sathya's contribution is crucial — his lens and lighting accentuate the suspense and eeriness of the drama". [3] His work in the movie Maya was critically acclaimed. [4] [5] Cinematography in the film Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru was lauded by critics. [6] In a review of the film by The Times of India , the reviewer wrote that "cinematographer Sathyan Sooryan’s wide frames, which turn the sun-burnt, unforgiving terrain into a parallel antagonist, make it a film that needs to be savoured on the big screen". [7] [8] In 2019, he worked for the film Kaithi . His work in the film was well appreciated. [9] He made his Telugu debut with the biographical film Yatra . [2] His work in the Telugu film Dasara (2023) was praised well. He joined in the film's production in 2021. In an interview with The Hindu's Sangeetha Devi Dundoo, Sooryan told that "the challenge was to film the day-to-day portions. We had to film some of the sunny portions on monsoon days when the sky was overcast. More than 200 junior artists were involved in some scenes and we could not sit idle and wait for the sun". [10]

Ghanta Naveen Babu, known professionally by his screen name Nani, is an Indian actor, producer, and television presenter known primarily for his work in Telugu cinema. Acclaimed for his versatile acting, he has received two Filmfare Awards and two Nandi Awards for his work.
Dream Warrior Pictures is an Indian film production company based in Chennai. It was founded in 2010 by brothers S R Prakashbabu and S R Prabhu, who were partners in Studio Green during 2010–2013. They are also relatives of the veteran actor Sivakumar and cousins for actors Suriya and Karthi. They are prominent producers and distributors in India.

Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru or simply Theeran is a 2017 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film written and directed by H. Vinoth and produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures. Based on the incidents from the Operation Bawaria case, it depicts the nefarious activity of dacoits and its eventual containment with the Tamil Nadu Police squad headlined by DGP S. R. Jangid. The film stars Karthi, in the titular character Theeran, modelled on Jangid, alongside Rakul Preet Singh and Abhimanyu Singh, who plays the main antagonist.
Ami Thumi is a 2017 Indian Telugu-language romantic comedy film written and directed by Mohanakrishna Indraganti. Nani is an Indian actor, producer and television presenter who works predominantly in Telugu cinema and appears in a few Tamil language films. He made his acting debut with Mohana Krishna Indraganti's 2008 comedy film Ashta Chamma, an Indian adaptation of Oscar Wilde's play The Importance of Being Earnest. After Ashta Chamma's commercial success, Nani played the lead roles in three Telugu films in the next two years: Ride (2009), Snehituda (2009) and Bheemili Kabaddi Jattu (2010). In 2011, Nani collaborated with B. V. Nandini Reddy on the romantic comedy film Ala Modalaindi which was profitable. The same year, he made his Tamil cinema debut with Anjana Ali Khan's Veppam, a crime drama set in the backdrop of North Chennai. The following year, Nani collaborated with S. S. Rajamouli and Gautham Vasudev Menon on the Telugu-Tamil bilingual Eega and the romance film Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu respectively. The former, which was about a murdered man reincarnating as a housefly and avenging his death, earned Nani an award in the Best Hero category at the 2013 Toronto After Dark Film Festival. He received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for his performance in Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu is an Indian actress who has appeared predominantly in Telugu and Tamil films. She made her acting debut in 2010 with Gautham Vasudev Menon's Telugu romance film Ye Maaya Chesave. The film fetched her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South and a Nandi Award. In 2012, Samantha featured in live action Telugu-Tamil bilingual project Eega. The film received positive reviews and was one of the highest-grossing Telugu films of the year, earning ₹1.15 billion globally. Her performance as a micro artist who runs a NGO and takes revenge for the murder of her lover earned her Filmfare Award for Best Telugu Actress. Kaithi (transl. Prisoner) is a 2019 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It is produced by S. R. Prakash Babu and S. R. Prabhu under Dream Warrior Pictures and co-produced by Tiruppur Vivek under Vivekananda Pictures. It stars Karthi in the lead role, along with Narain, Arjun Das, Harish Uthaman, George Maryan, and Dheena in pivotal roles. It serves as the first instalment in the Lokesh Cinematic Universe. In the film, a recently released prisoner races against time to drive poisoned cops to a hospital in exchange for meeting his daughter while evading criminals chasing him.
Welcome Obama is a 2013 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by Singeetam Srinivasa Rao, who also composed the soundtrack. A remake of the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy! (2011), the film stars Urmila Kanetkar, Rachel and Esteban. It focuses on a surrogate mother who bears a foreigner's child. The film was released on 20 September 2013.

Thimmarusu: Assignment Valli is a 2021 Indian Telugu-language crime thriller film directed by Sharan Koppisetty and produced by Mahesh S. Koneru and Yarabolu Srujan under the production company East Coast Productions and S Originals. The film stars Satyadev, Priyanka Jawalkar and Ajay in lead roles. R. Prabhu under the banner Dream Warrior Pictures, starring Karthi, Rakul Preet Singh and Abhimanyu Singh. The film is based on incidents from the Operation Bawaria case. The soundtrack consisted of seven songs, with lyrics written by Thamarai, Umadevi, Vivek, Raju Murugan, Ranjith, Udayakumar, Soundararajan and Ghibran himself penning for the album.
