Schliersee is a natural lake in Upper Bavaria in the Bavarian Alps. It is located next to the small town of Schliersee in the Miesbach district.
The lake has a surface of 2.241 square kilometres (0.865 sq mi) at an elevation of 777 metres (2,549 ft) AMSL, expanding 2.3 kilometres (1.4 mi) by 1.3 kilometres (0.81 mi) maximum. The average depth is 20 metres (66 ft) The maximum depth is 40 metres (130 ft). The only island is Wörth island, located almost in the middle of the lake.
The lake is named for the monastery Kloster Schliersee ("Sliersee"), established in 779 at Kirchbichl nearby Westenhofen.

'Tsomgo Lake, also known as Tsongmo Lake is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 kilometres (25 mi) from the capital Gangtok. Located at an elevation of 3,753 m (12,313 ft), the lake remains frozen during the winter season. The lake surface reflects different colours with change of seasons and is held in great reverence by the local Sikkimese people. Buddhist monks prognosticated after studying the changing colours of the lake.

Great Central Lake is a lake on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. It is located north of Sproat Lake and to the northwest of the city of Port Alberni. It is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long, with an area of 50.85 square kilometres (19.63 sq mi) and mean depth of 124 metres (407 ft), to a maximum of 250 metres (820 ft), making it the second deepest lake on Vancouver Island. The lake is long and narrow, with the exception of Trestle Bay located on the east end of the lake. It is nestled beneath low mountains, with second-growth forest surrounding most of the lake. The water level is controlled by a dam on the east side.
Dingevatn or Dingevatnet is the 18th deepest lake in Norway, reaching a maximum depth of 220 metres (720 ft). It is located in the municipality of Gulen in Vestland county. The 2.84-square-kilometre (1.10 sq mi) lake is located just east of the village of Dingja, about 1 kilometre (0.62 mi) southeast of the mouth of the Sognefjorden. The lake lies about 4 kilometres (2.5 mi) north of the municipal center of Eivindvik. The lake flows out into the small Dingjaelva river, which runs past the village of Dingja before emptying into the Sognesjøen strait.

Walchensee or Lake Walchen is one of the deepest and largest alpine lakes in Germany, with a maximum depth of 192.3 metres (631 ft) and an area of 16.4 square kilometres (6.3 sq mi). The lake is 75 kilometres (47 mi) south of Munich in the middle of the Bavarian Alps. The entire lake, including the island of Sassau, is within the municipality of Kochel. Landowner of the lake and island area is the Bavarian State. To the east and the south, the lake borders the municipality of Jachenau.

Lake Vrana, in the centre of Cres island, is a fresh water lake, 1.5 kilometres (0.93 mi) wide and about 4.8 kilometres (3.0 mi) long.
