152+23innings pitched, making 27 starts. [8] He spent the 2018 season with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, going 8–6 with a 4.79 ERA in 26 games (25 starts).

The Royals added Blewett to their 40-man roster after the 2018 season. [9] He began 2019 with the Omaha Storm Chasers, [10] and also spent time with the Naturals. Over 23 games (21 starts) between the two teams, Blewett went 6–11 with a 7.34 ERA, striking out ninety over 106+23 innings.

On August 5, 2020, Blewett was promoted to the major leagues for the first time. He was optioned down the next day without making a major league appearance. He was recalled on August 15, but again sent down without play a day later. On September 16, he was recalled again, and made his major league debut on September 18 against the Milwaukee Brewers, pitching 2 scoreless innings. [11]

On April 1, 2021, Blewett was designated for assignment by the Royals. [12] On April 6, Blewett was outrighted to the alternate training site. [13] Blewett was selected back to the Royals roster during September, and pitched 5 innings, giving up 1 run. On October 29, Blewett elected free agency. [14]

Chicago White Sox

On April 9, 2022, Blewett signed a minor league contract with the Chicago White Sox organization. [15] In 27 games (25 starts) split between the Double–A Birmingham Barons and the Triple–A Charlotte Knights, he accumulated an 8–7 record and 5.78 ERA with 109 strikeouts in 123.0 innings of work. He elected free agency following the season on November 10. [16]

Atlanta Braves

On March 29, 2023, Blewett signed a minor league contract with the Atlanta Braves organization. [17] In 17 games (13 starts) for the Double–A Mississippi Braves, he registered a 3–4 record and 4.21 ERA with 76 strikeouts in 72+23 innings pitched. [18]

Uni-President Lions

On August 12, 2023, Blewett signed with the Uni-President Lions of the Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL). [19] In 7 starts for the Lions, he logged a 3–3 record and 3.95 ERA with 40 strikeouts over 41 innings of work. Blewett became a free agent following the season.

Minnesota Twins

On January 24, 2024, Blewett signed a minor league contract with the Minnesota Twins. [20] In 36 outings for the Triple–A St. Paul Saints, he recorded a 3.66 ERA with 52 strikeouts across 51+23 innings pitched. On August 9, the Twins selected Blewett's contract, adding him to their active roster. [21] He made one appearance for the Twins, tossing a scoreless inning of relief against the Kansas City Royals. Blewett was designated for assignment following the promotion of Zebby Matthews on August 13. [22] He cleared waivers and was sent outright to St. Paul on August 16. [23] However, Blewett rejected the assignment in favor of free agency. [24] He re-signed with Minnesota on a new minor league contract the following day. [25] On August 23, the Twins added Blewett back to their active roster. [26] In 12 appearances for Minnesota, he compiled a 1.77 ERA with 18 strikeouts across 20+13 innings pitched. On November 4, Blewett was removed from the 40–man roster and sent outright to St. Paul. [27] He elected free agency the next day. [28]
