Scott Robertson (born 24 June 1987) is a former Australian Springboard and Platform diver.
Scott began diving at Whitehorse Diving Club in Melbourne back in 1993. His coach Doug Walton coached him through to an international level before Scott relocated to Brisbane in 2004 to take up a scholarship [1] at the Australian Institute of Sport . In 2004 he and synchro partner Matthew Mitcham took out a Silver Medal at the World Junior Championships in Belem - Brazil before transitioning to the Senior National Team in 2005/2006.
In 2006 he debuted in his first international senior team at the 2006 Melbourne Commonwealth Games in three events. Scott continued to compete in the 2006 FINA Grand Prix series at the Italian, German, China and American Grand Prix where he placed 2nd behind the Chinese.
In 2007 Scott was named Australian Male Diver of the Year after taking three gold medals at the 2007 Open National Championships. He went on to Final at the 2007 FINA World Championships as well as finish in the top 10 in the 2007 International Grand Prix series. [2]
In 2008 Scott was named back to back Australian Male Diver of the Year after taking a gold and two silvers at the Australian Open Championships. Scott went on to compete in the 2008 FINA World Cup as well as winning the Olympic Trials in the Men’s 3m synchronised with partner Robert Newbery.
Scott went on to represent Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, however was hampered in his preparation by a broken wrist he sustained while training for the 2008 FINA World Cup. He fractured his scaphoid bone during training from the 10m, which restricted his competitions to the 3m springboard events only. Scott went on to make the Finals at the Beijing Olympics finishing in 8th place.
After the Olympic Games Scott underwent wrist surgery and was restricted to light training throughout the 2009 season.
In 2010 he relocated to Sydney to the New South Wales Institute of Sport to train once again with 2008 Olympic Gold Medallist, Matthew Mitcham and coach Chava Sobrino. After over 12 months out of the National Team and two wrist operations, Scott managed to win two Gold medals and a Bronze medal at the 2010 Australian Open Championships. Scott continued his form in the 2010 FINA Grand Prix series winning a Bronze at the Canadian Grand Prix and finishing with a world ranking of #2 in World Standings. Scott also competed at the 2010 Delhi Commonwealth Games winning a Bronze medal. [3] [4]
While preparing for the 2012 London Olympics Scott sustained a shoulder injury and was forced into retirement after undergoing a shoulder reconstruction in early 2012. Scott continues to coach and is an active board member of Diving NSW.
Loudy Wiggins is a former Australian diver. She was born in Haifa, Israel to Palestinian parents, but moved to Australia when she was 3 years old.
Thomas Robert Daley is a British diver and television personality. Specialising in multiple events, he is an Olympic gold medallist in the men's synchronised 10-metre platform event at the 2020 Olympics and double world champion in the FINA 10-metre platform event, winning in 2009 at the age of fifteen, and again in 2017. He is an Olympic bronze medallist in the 2012 platform event, the 2016 synchronised event, and the 2020 platform event, making him the first British diver to win four Olympic medals. Daley also competes in team events, winning the inaugural mixed team World title in 2015. He is a one-time Olympic champion, 3-time World Champion, a 2-time junior World Champion, a 5-time European champion and 4-time Commonwealth champion.
Matthew John Mitcham OAM is a retired Australian diver and trampolinist. As a diver, he was the 2008 Olympic champion in the 10m platform, and he is the 2nd highest single-dive score in Olympic history. This made him the first openly gay athlete to win an Olympic gold medal. He is also the first Australian male to win an Olympic gold medal in diving since Dick Eve at the 1924 Summer Olympics.
César Augusto Aquino de Castro is a Brazilian competitive diver from Brasília, Distrito Federal. Castro has represented Brazil in four consecutive Olympics Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Games, 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, 2012 Summer Olympics in London, and 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
Guo Jingjing is a retired Chinese female diver, and multi-time Olympic gold medalist and world champion. Guo is tied with her partner Wu Minxia for winning the most Olympic medals (6) of any female diver and she won the 3m springboard event at five consecutive World Championships. She announced her retirement in 2011.
Michael Hixon is an American diver. He is a two-time Olympic medalist, having won the silver medal with Sam Dorman in the men's synchronized 3-meter springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro and the silver medal with Andrew Capobianco at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo in the same event.
Jennifer Abel is a Canadian former diver. She is currently partnered with Mélissa Citrini-Beaulieu for synchronized diving. She won an Olympic bronze medal at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the 3 m synchro diving event with Émilie Heymans and a silver medal at the 2020 Summer Olympics in the same event with Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu. Abel is a four-time Commonwealth Games champion in the 1 m and 3 m synchronized springboard; and is also a three-time Pan American Games champion in the 3 m springboard and 3 m synchronized springboard. Her ten medals at the FINA World Championships are a record for most medals by a Canadian in diving at the world championships.
Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears, Daniel Goodfellow and Anthony Harding. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. A week later, Laugher won a silver in the men's individual 3m springboard at the same Games, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic diving medals at the same Games.
Bryan Nickson Lomas is a former Malaysian diver. Lomas was the youngest Malaysian athlete to qualify for 2004 Summer Olympics when he was 14. He became the country's first world junior diving champion after winning gold at the 3 m springboard event in the World Junior Championships held at Belem, Brazil in 2004. He trained under the coaching of Yang Zhuliang. Lomas is named after the footballer Bryan Robson by his father.
Qiu Bo is a Chinese diver. He won the silver medal in the 10 metre platform event at the 2012 Summer Olympics. He is a four-time world champion at the World Aquatics Championships, winning the gold medal three times in the 10m platform event, consecutively in 2011, 2013 and 2015, and winning the gold medal in the synchronized 10m event in 2011.
Li Hongping is a Chinese-American former diver who competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Hongping Li, an NCAA champion and two-time Olympian who has been one of the most successful NCAA coaches for more than a decade, is in his 14th year as USC's head diving coach. He was named to the position on July 1, 1999.
Jaele Patrick is an Australian diver specialising in the women's three-metre springboard event. Starting as a gymnast at age four, she switched to diving when she was fifteen years old and attended Texas A&M on a diving scholarship. She placed 11th at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Aidan Heslop is a British diver and high diver who competes internationally representing Wales and Great Britain. At the 2018 Commonwealth Games he competed representing Wales, finishing 6th in the 10 metre platform and 12th in the 3 metre springboard. In 2021, he won the gold medal in the 27 metre high dive at the Abu Dhabi Aquatics Festival representing Great Britain, performing the highest difficulty dive, a 6.2 degree of difficulty, in history. He placed sixth in the inaugural men's high dive at the 2022 European Aquatics Championships.
