A business school is a university-level institution that confers degrees in business administration or management. A business school may also be referred to as school of management, management school, school of business administration, or colloquially b-school or biz school. A business school teaches topics such as accounting, administration, business analytics, strategy, economics, entrepreneurship, finance, human resource management, management science, management information systems, international business, logistics, marketing, operations management, organizational psychology, organizational behavior, public relations, research methods, real estate, and supply chain management among others.

David Bruce Audretsch is an American economist. He is a distinguished professor at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University and also serves as director of the SPEA International Office, Ameritech Chair of Economic Development, and director of SPEA's Institute for Development Strategies (IDS). He is co-founder and co-editor of Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal, and also works as a consultant to the United Nations, the World Bank, the OECD, the EU Commission, and the U.S. Department of State. He was the Director of the Entrepreneurship, Growth and Public Policy Group at the Max Planck Institute of Economics in Germany from 2003 to 2009. Since 2020, he also serves as a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship at the University of Klagenfurt.
The Weatherhead East Asian Institute (WEAI) at Columbia University is a community of scholars affiliated with Columbia's schools, bringing together over 50 full-time faculty, a diverse group of visiting scholars and professionals, and students from the United States and abroad. Peter Gordon Klein is an American Austrian School economist who studies managerial and organizational issues. Klein holds the W. W. Caruth Endowed Chair and is a professor of entrepreneurship at Baylor University's Hankamer School of Business, where he is also Chair of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation. Steve C. Currall is an American psychological scientist and academic administrator, and served as the seventh president of the University of South Florida. He previously served as Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Southern Methodist University from January 1, 2016. From 2009 to 2014, Currall served as Dean of the UC Davis Graduate School of Management. He has also held leadership roles at University College London and Rice University. On March 22, 2019, Currall was named to succeed Judy Genshaft as President of the University of South Florida, and took office July 1, 2019. He announced his resignation due to health and family reasons on July 19, 2021.

Professor Elijah Bitange Ndemo, is an ICT Champion, academician and newspaper columnist with the Kenyan newspaper Daily Nation and its sister publication, the Business Daily.
