Scott Warner (born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania) is a U.S.-based lighting designer [1] [2] who has recently designed for Icona Pop, Train, The Pussycat Dolls, [3] [4] [5] Jimmy Eat World, Everclear, David Cook, [6] and Gavin Degraw. [7] [8] Warner started his career is the late 1980s with the Pittsburgh-based bands, The Affordable Floors and The Cynics. [9] His first national client was the shock rock group GWAR.

Education and career

A student at the Greater Latrobe High School in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, Warner was active in the school's theater program. In 1983, he was a member of the school's production of "Mame." [10]

Recording Era

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Warner was an Independent Producer and Engineer, recording out of studios in Pittsburgh and New York. His main studio was The Flagrant Underground, a 16 track studio in Pittsburgh that recorded mostly Punk Bands. In 1988 while working for Zanzibar Records, Scott wrote/ performed, and recorded a song titled "Zip It" [11] that he was contracted to write for talk show host Morton Downey Jr. The song was played on Downey's show as well as the Dr. Demento show. Downey endorsed the record, but a dispute with his network forced the label to stop distributing the record. The song can be heard in the film Évocateur: The Morton Downey Jr. Movie .

The Robe Robin Cyclone

Warner has teamed up with Robe Lighting based in the Czech Republic to create an innovative lighting fixture called The Cyclone. [12] This one of a kind effects moving head product has an integrated fan in the centre of the head surrounded by a ring of 24 x high powered RGBW multichip LEDs. The Cyclone made its live debut [13] with the Swedish group Icona Pop while supporting Miley Cyrus on her 2014 US tour and the UK leg of Katy Perry's 2104 tour.

The Cyclone also made its NLH Hockey debut with the Pittsburgh Penguins [14] during their 2014 season opener. The Cyclone has been used by Kaiser Chiefs, Lady Gaga, Sublime With Rome, [15] Oscar and The Wolf (MIA Awards), [16] The "14-18 Spektakel Musical," [17] Charli XCX, [18] the Trans-Siberian Orchestras "Ghosts Of Christmas Eve" tour, SpaceXperience, [19] BodyGuard Musical, [20] The Blue Man Group in Las Vegas [21] and Alice Cooper's 2019 European Tour.

"Don't Cha" is a song written by Busta Rhymes and CeeLo Green, and produced by the latter. The chorus is a slightly modified interpolation of the chorus line sung by Sir Mix-a-Lot in a song he wrote called "Swass" (1988). The song was originally recorded and published in 2004 by Tori Alamaze, former backing vocalist for the hip hop duo OutKast, and was released as her debut single. After minor success, and dissatisfaction with Universal Records, Alamaze gave up her rights to the song.

It is an uptempo electropop and R&B song, sampling the 1966 song, "He's Always There" by British rock band The Yardbirds. <i>Doll Domination</i> 2008 studio album by the Pussycat Dolls

Doll Domination is the second and most recent studio album by American girl group the Pussycat Dolls, released on September 19, 2008, by Interscope Records. The album's release was preceded by the departure of the group's longest-standing member Carmit Bachar. Development began in February 2008 where the group worked with previous collaborators Sean Garrett, Polow da Don and Timbaland and new ones such as Darkchild, J-Roc and Chase N. Cashe. Polow da Don, R. Kelly and Snoop Dogg also make guest performances on the album. Several songs on Doll Domination were originally recorded for the lead singer Nicole Scherzinger's debut solo album, Her Name is Nicole, which was shelved after the under-performance of its preceding singles.

The Doll Domination Tour was the second and final concert tour by American girl group The Pussycat Dolls. It was launched in support of their second studio album, Doll Domination (2008). The tour was announced in October 2008 with dates in Europe and Oceania revealed in the following month, the tour contained six legs and 50 shows. It began in Aberdeen, Scotland on January 18, 2009, and concluded in Beirut, Lebanon on July 31, 2009. In-between the first two legs, the group supported the first leg of The Circus Starring Britney Spears in North America. The setlist for the concerts included songs from PCD (2005) and Doll Domination as well a cover of Shirley Bassey's Big Spender. Nineteen shows were submitted to Billboard's boxscore grossing $14.3 million, with 231,711 fans attending the performances.

Girlicious was an American girl group originally formed by Robin Antin, creator of the Pussycat Dolls, from The CW reality TV show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious. The group was originally signed to Geffen Records and composed of members Nichole Cordova, Tiffanie Anderson, Chrystina Sayers and Natalie Mejia. Their self-titled debut album was released in Canada in August 2008 and reached number two on the Canadian Albums Chart. After Anderson left the group in June 2009, Girlicious signed with Universal Music Canada and released their second studio album, Rebuilt, in November 2010. Mejia and Sayers departed the group in February 2011. Nichole Cordova later announced the end of Girlicious, and her joining a new girl group called Girls United.

Fenton Williams is a production designer and video director. He has worked with Dave Matthews Band since 1991. He began as their road manager and has served as Dave Matthews Band's lighting designer and video director for the last 20 years. He has also worked with acts such as John Mayer, Eric Clapton, and Liza Minnelli and events such as Bonnaroo Music Festival, Z100's Jingle Ball & Nashville Rising.

"React" sees the return of Carmit Bachar who left the group before the release of their last album, Doll Domination (2008), although it does not feature Melody Thornton, who opted out of the reunion citing the desire to continue with her own solo music career. It was written by group member Nicole Scherzinger, along with Georgia Buchanan, Johan Gustafsson, William Simister, and Hannah Wilson. It was produced by Gustafson, Will Simms, and Swedish producer Ivares.
