Sean Carrigan (born May 16, 1974) is an American actor, producer, stand-up comedian, and former professional boxer best known for his turn as Dr. Ben "Stitch" Rayburn on the hit CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless . [1] [2] Carrigan is also the co-founder of the production company Woodhead Entertainment. [3]
Sean Carrigan grew up in Miami Springs, FL and is an alumnus of Miami Springs Senior High School where he was an All State wrestler and GMAC Champ. Carrigan was also an NCAA Division 1 wrestler and CAA Conference Finalist in college.
Carrigan started his career as a professional boxer in 1998, and ended it in 1999. [4] Since then, he has appeared in numerous films, TV shows and commercials, and can be seen doing stand-up comedy across North America. [1] [2]
In May 2013, he was hired for a four episode arc as Dr. Ben "Stitch" Rayburn on the CBS television soap opera The Young and the Restless, [2] his first airdate being June 28. [5] After serving as a recurring character for almost half a year he was offered a contract in November 2013. [6]
In addition to the Y&R, Sean has appeared in numerous television productions including Netflix's "American Vandal", and "Lucifer", ABC's "Grey's Anatomy", and "Modern Family", The CW Network's "Hart of Dixie", and Lifetime's "Call Me Crazy", starring opposite Academy Award Winner Jennifer Hudson and directed by Ashley Judd. Sean can also be seen in feature films including 20th Century Fox’s “Ford v Ferrari”, Tyler Perry's “The Single Moms Club", and The Walt Disney Company's "John Carter". [1]
Carrigan is co-founder of the production company Woodhead Entertainment [3] which focuses on original shorts, branded media and feature films. With Woodhead Entertainment, Sean contributes as both a producer and actor. His comedic performance as Brett Favre in the viral parody hit "Brett Favre: Rise - What should I do?" gained over 4 million online views and has garnered him great reviews. [7]

The Young and the Restless is an American television soap opera created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell for CBS. The show is set in fictional Genoa City. First broadcast on March 26, 1973, The Young and the Restless was originally broadcast as half-hour episodes, five times a week. The show expanded to one-hour episodes on February 4, 1980. In 2006, the series began airing previous episodes weeknights on SOAPnet until 2013, when it moved to TVGN. As of July 1, 2013, Pop still airs previous episodes on weeknights. The series is also syndicated internationally.
Victoria Newman is a fictional character from The Young and the Restless, an American soap opera on the CBS network. Created by William J. Bell, she is currently portrayed by Amelia Heinle. Victoria was born onscreen in 1982 and was portrayed by child actress Ashley Nicole Millan for her first eight years. Having been rapidly aged to a teenager, Victoria returned to the soap opera and was portrayed by Heather Tom. Tom portrayed the character into her early adult years and remained in the role for thirteen years. Due to creative differences, Tom left the soap opera in 2003 and Heinle, who debuted as Victoria on March 21, 2005, was cast in the role.

He is initially involved in a story arc involving Avery Bailey Clark, his former lover who believes he died during the war in Afghanistan. Avery is stunned by Dylan's return, but remains in a relationship with Nicholas Newman. Burton noted the extreme differences between Dylan and his General Hospital character Jason Morgan. The actor was able to have a new wardrobe and look. While Jason was confined and "Stone Cold", Dylan has been credited by Burton as allowing him to portray his lighter side in addition to more of his own personality. The character was later paired with Chelsea Lawson ; their short-lived romance and marriage received negative reviews from viewers and critics alike.
Kelly Andrews is a fictional character on the CBS daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. The role was originated by actress Cynthia Watros, who debuted in the role on November 15, 2013. In 2014, following her booking a pilot on MTV, the role was immediately recast with Daytime Emmy Award winner Cady McClain, who debuted in the role on April 16, 2014. On May 22, 2015, McClain made her final appearance as Kelly, when the character was killed off.
