Sean Fields (born March 6, 1981) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey goaltender.

Prior to turning professional, Fields attended Boston University. Playing four seasons with the Boston University Terriers men's ice hockey team (2000–04), Fields set, and still holds, the Hockey East record as the goaltender with the best career save percentage of 90.5%. Fields also holds the Boston Terriers record for most career wins with 62. [1]

The Terriers defeated Maine 6–2 in the championship game at the Providence Civic Center in Providence, Rhode Island, to win their fourth national championship.

The 2008–09 Boston University Terriers Men's ice hockey season was the 81st season of play for the program and 25th in Hockey East. They represented Boston University in the 2008–09 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey season. The Terriers were coached by Jack Parker, in his 36th season, and played their home games at Agganis Arena. The team won the 2009 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament, the 5th national championship in program history.
