Sean Michael Fidler is an American sailboat racer and sailplane competition pilot.

Sean was a US Sailing Team] Gold Medalist in Yachting at the 1991 Pan American Games [1] [2] in the Lightning Class. Sean has also won several world and national championships in various one-design sailboat classes.

Sean is also an American sailplane (glider) competition pilot. Sean is a member of the 2015, 2016 and 2017 US Soaring Team [3] and will compete in the 18-meter class at the 2017 FAI Gliding World Championships in Benalla, Australia, in January 2017. Sean placed third in the 1st Pan American Gliding Championships held in Benton, Tennessee in April 2015 in the 15-meter class. [4] He qualified for the final of the 2021 Sailplane Grand Prix. [5]

George B. Moffat Jr. is an American author, twice world champion glider pilot, and a member of the U.S. Soaring Hall of Fame. Before competing in sailplanes, he compiled a winning record in International 14 foot Dinghy racing and is still an active sailor.

Peter C. Masak was an engineer, inventor, and glider pilot. He graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mechanical engineering in May 1981 from the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. He earned his glider pilot license at the age of 16 and his power pilot license at the age of 18, the minimum ages for both. Peter was a Canadian soaring record holder and represented Canada and later the United States in the World Gliding Championships. He logged almost 2000 hours of glider flight time. He was living in West Chester, Pennsylvania with his wife Adrienne and their three children when he died.
