Seann Nicols is an American rock singer, songwriter, and music producer known for his association with bands such as Quiet Riot, Adler's Appetite, Bobby Blotzer's Ratt, and Westfield Massacre. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Career

Adler's Appetite (2005-2009)

In 2005, Nicols, then known as Sheldon Tarsha, joined Adler's Appetite, replacing the previous vocalist, Jizzy Pearl. He toured with the band in the US, South America, and Europe, performing the 'Appetite for Destruction' album. [1] [5] [6] [7]

Tarsha (2007-2010)

During this period, Nicols fronted the band Tarsha, garnering attention with performances alongside bands like Anvil and Steel Panther. In 2010, Tarsha released "The Singles EP" following their 2007 album "Prophecies," which achieved online recognition. [8] [9]

Icon (2009-2010)

Nicols joined the Phoenix-based rock band ICON in 2009 and performed with the group until May 2010, marking his departure with a performance opening for QUEENSRŸCHE at the Orpheum Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. [10] [11] [12]

Name Change (2011)

On April 29, 2011, Nicols announced his official name change from Sheldon Tarsha, stating both personal and professional reasons for the change. [13]

Quiet Riot (2016-2017)

In October 2016, Nicols joined Quiet Riot as a lead vocalist, working on new material for an anticipated 2017 album release on Frontiers Music SRL. His tenure with the band was short-lived due to creative and personal conflicts. [2] [14]

Bobby Blotzer's Ratt (2017)

Nicols was announced as the new frontman for Bobby Blotzer's Ratt on March 7, 2017, replacing Joshua Alan. He made his live debut with the band on March 18, 2017, at the Prairie Knights Casino & Resort in Fort Yates, North Dakota [3] [15] [16] [17]

Westfield Massacre (2017-2018)

Joining Westfield Massacre as the new lead vocalist in June 2017, Nicols contributed to their album "Salvation", released in October 2018 through Nerve Strike Records [4] [18] [19] [20] [21] [22]

All Systems Go is the second studio album by American glam metal band Vinnie Vincent Invasion, released on May 17, 1988. All Systems Go featured new vocalist Mark Slaughter, who replaced Robert Fleischman. The band toured in support for this album, headlining small clubs, but broke up after the completion of the tour at the end of August 1988. The album features Yngwie Malmsteen's vocalist Jeff Scott Soto on backing vocals. This would be the last studio album from the Vinnie Vincent Invasion for more than three decades, until the release of their upcoming third album Judgment Day .

<i>Infestation</i> (album) 2010 studio album by Ratt

Infestation is the seventh and final studio album by American glam metal band Ratt. It is the band's first original effort since their self-titled album in 1999, and the first album since the death of Robbin Crosby in 2002. This is the only album to feature guitarist Carlos Cavazo, formerly of Quiet Riot. The band would enter a turbulent time after the edition of the album, and by 2018 all musicians in it had left the band, except lead singer Stephen Pearcy. It was released by Loud & Proud via Roadrunner Records, a then-sub-label of their longtime home Atlantic Records.

<i>Alive</i> (Adlers Appetite EP) 2012 EP by Adlers Appetite

Alive is an EP released by American hard rock band Adler's Appetite on April 2, 2012. It is a sequel to the band's first EP, the self-titled Adler's Appetite that was released in February 2005. In 2010 the band released their single “Alive" on iTunes from what was intended to be their upcoming album Alive that was slated to be released in 2011. Also a radio edit of the single was released on July 29, 2010 in conjunction with Steven Adler's tell-all autobiography, My Appetite for Destruction: Sex, and Drugs, and Guns N' Roses, and the band continued recording the album in fall 2011 in North Hollywood, California, and unlike the band's first EP which the band produced itself, Alive was produced by Cinderella band member and drummer Fred Coury, and was also recorded in a different studio as well. The album was mixed by Adler's long time friend Anthony Focx, and was released under the record label Down Boys Records. There is a digital as well as a limited-edition physical release, as Alive is available in both CD and digital music formats.

<i>Road Rage</i> (Quiet Riot album) 2017 studio album by Quiet Riot

Road Rage is the thirteenth studio album from the rock band Quiet Riot. This is the first album to feature American Idol alum James Durbin on lead vocals. The album was originally recorded with vocalist Seann Nicols, a former member of Adler's Appetite and Icon, and scheduled for release on April 21, 2017. Pre-orders for the album began on March 1, 2017, and the instant gratification track was titled "The Seeker". However, Nicols was fired from the band in March, and it was subsequently announced that the album would be postponed so that Nicols' vocals and lyrics could be replaced and re-recorded by Durbin. The track "The Seeker" was withdrawn from distribution at this point, and never saw release on the final version of Road Rage in any form. The album finally saw release on August 4, 2017. Billboard Magazine debuted the music video for the single "Can't Get Enough" directed by Regina Russell Banali on July 24, 2017.
