Search are a rock kapak band formed in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, in 1981 by drummer Yazit, [1] lead guitarist Hillary Ang, bassist Nasir, rhythm guitarist Nordin and singer Amy. Their debut album was produced by Polygram Records (Singapore). The group have gone through many line-up changes in their career, but the songs and music have remained strong and unique among Malaysian, Singaporean and Indonesian fans. To date, they've released eleven studio albums, number of lives, compilation and joint (with Wings) albums. They've been regarded by Malaysian rock fans [2] as the greatest rock band in Malaysia [3] with their numerous hits along with rock anthems.

At the height of her career and fame in 1995, she was involved in a traffic incident that took her life at the age of 19 years, 2 months & 20 days. Her death prompted an outpouring of nationwide grief. 2020–2021 Malaysian floods is an event when several states in Malaysia were flooded in late 2020 and early 2021. Floods caused about tens of thousands of people to be evacuated to evacuation centers. The floods also claimed several lives, causing almost all types of land transport in the areas affected by the floods to be cut off.
