Seb Jewell (born 20 December 1987 in London, England) is a retired rugby union player who played for London Welsh, Harlequins and London Wasps in Premiership Rugby, as well as featuring on-loan at Esher in the RFU Championship while at Harlequins.
Jewell was playing youth rugby for Richmond when spotted by Harlequins academy manager as a potential talent, [1] while at Quins he represented England U20 alongside Danny Care. [2] After mainly featuring on loan for Esher in the RFU Championship and National League 1, where he was named in the league's team of the season, [3] Jewell secured a move to London Wasps in the summer of 2010. [4] His start was hampered by injuries, [4] then the emergence of Elliot Daly saw him slip further down the pecking order. [1] In the summer of 2011 Jewell signed for London Welsh, [3] and at the end of the 2011-12 RFU Championship season Welsh were surprise promotion winners. Jewell scored the winning points in Welsh's first Premiership Rugby win as they beat Exeter Chiefs, 25-24, in September 2012. [5]
Jewell signed a new contract with Welsh in 2015, [6] and stayed until the club was liquidated in 2017. [2]

The Middlesex Sevens was a Rugby Sevens tournament held annually at Twickenham stadium in London, England until 2011. It was first held in 1926, and started by Dr J.A. Russell-Cargill, a London-based Scot. The event was held at the end of the rugby union season in May every year for 75 years and moved to August in 2001 due to lack of available stadium dates and players in May. The Middlesex Sevens tournament was last played in 2011, as the new Premiership Rugby 7s Series caused many of the top clubs that previously took part to pull out.

Ealing Trailfinders Rugby Club is an English professional rugby union club based in West London. The club's first team are the current champions of the RFU Championship but are ineligible for promotion to Premiership Rugby as their home ground's capacity is too small. They were promoted to the league after they won National League 1 in 2014–15.

The 2011–12 RFU Championship was the third season of the second tier of the English domestic rugby union competition, played between August 2011 and May 2012. New teams to the division included Leeds Carnegie who were relegated from the Aviva Premiership 2010–11 and London Scottish who were promoted from 2010–11 National League 1. Clive James Stuart-Smith is an English rugby union player who plays at scrum-half. Stuart-Smith played club rugby for Gloucester RFC, Leeds Tykes, Worcester Warriors, Exeter Chiefs and Esher RFC in the English leagues as well as representing Welsh region Llanelli Scarlets. Stuart-Smith played age grade rugby for England at under 18, under 19 and under 21 level, as well as representing England Saxons, England's second national rugby union team.
The 2022–23 Premiership Rugby is the 36th season of the top flight of English domestic rugby union competition and the fifth to be sponsored by Gallagher. The competition will be broadcast by BT Sport for the tenth successive season, with six league season games and the final also simulcast free-to-air by ITV. The 2022–23 Premiership Rugby Cup is the 50th season of England's national rugby union cup competition and the fourth under the new Premiership Rugby Cup format following the disbanding of the Anglo-Welsh Cup at the end of the 2017–18 season due to the withdrawal of the Welsh Pro14 regions. Although there are no stipulations on player selection, the cup will be seen by many clubs as a development competition, and games will take place during the Autumn internationals and during the Six Nations.
