Semblante Urbano is the name of the sixth album from El Roockie and the first one under Mas Flow Inc. The album was released on February 12, 2008. The album combines the dimensions of his experiences with urban rhythms such as reggaeton, dancehall, hip hop & reggae. It was considered one of the most anticipated albums in the reggaeton in the Hispanophone world. Luny of the production duo said in an interview that Banista "...has lyrics that can cut veins." Semblante Urbano: La Otra Cara De La Calle is the re-edition of the original album set to be released sometime in 2009. This re-edition will contain the original 14 tracks from the standard edition plus 2 remixes and an additional 5 new songs. It will also contain a DVD with the music videos from the singles plus an interview with El Roockie.

Mas Flow Incorporated is a record label founded by Luny Tunes, a Dominican reggaeton production duo. It claims to be among the companies that helped expand the reggaeton genre beyond its limits. Mas Flow has many connections to the East Coast; in fact most of their producing teams come from Massachusetts in the US. Its primary headquarters is in Carolina, Puerto Rico. It has a regional office in New Jersey and Boston, Massachusetts and Rochester, New York.

La Revolución is the sixth studio album, and the ninth album overall, by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel. It was released on May 26, 2009 by Machete Music and WY Records. The album features collaborations with rapper 50 Cent, Ivy Queen, Yaviah, Ednita Nazario and Yomo. The album became a success in the United States and a bigger hit in Latin America. It won the Latin Music Award for Latin Rhythm Album of the Year at the 2010 Latin Billboard Music Awards. To promote the album the artists embarked on the La Revolución Tour in the US.

Machete Music is an urban music label owned by Universal Music Group. The label was once largely associated with reggaeton music, but in recent years, it has also signed non-reggaeton artists such as Malverde, Mala Rodriguez and Chino XL. The label is part of Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Machete Music is one of the most prevalent labels in the reggaeton genre.

Urbano music or Latin urban is a transnational umbrella category including many different genres and styles. As an umbrella term it includes a wide and diverse set of genres and styles such as dancehall, dembow, urban champeta, funk carioca, Latin hip hop and reggaeton. The commercial breakthrough of this music took place in 2017 with artists from Colombia, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, Panama, Puerto Rico, the United States, Venezuela and even non-Spanish-speaking nations, such as Brazil, where Portuguese is spoken.

Neoperreo is a subgenre of reggaeton with some degree of popularity in Los Angeles, Mexico City, and Chile. Among the most prominent acts of the scene are Tomasa del Real from Chile and Ms Nina from Argentina. Within the United States, neoperreo is more popular in Los Angeles than in Miami, where traditional reggaeton prevails. Red Bull Music has been significant patron of neoperreo artists.

Inter Shibuya – La Mafia is the fourth studio album by Colombian singer Feid, released on August 20, 2021, through Universal Music Latino. It was produced by Sky Rompiendo, Jowan, Taiko, ICON, Foreign Teck, BassCharity, Pardo, Alex Petit and Feid himself, Sky Rompiendo and ICON also appear as guest artists. A special edition of the album was released on December 17, 2021, titled Inter Shibuya , containing nine more songs including collaborations with Karol G, Ryan Castro, The Rudeboyz, Eladio Carrión, Mora and Sael.
