Sensorium Corporation is a social virtual reality (VR) company that is registered in the Cayman Islands with multiple offices nationwide. Including Los Angeles, California, Zurich, Switzerland, London, United Kingdom and Moscow, Russia. [1]
The initial prototype of Sensorium Galaxy platform was introduced at the Electronics Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2019. [2] [3] [4]
The platform works under a free-to-play model, which allows users to join activities without mandatory payments. Users will purchase visual items and effects to customize their avatars as well as tickets to exclusive events. Sensorium Galaxy will be accessible via VR headsets, mobile devices, and PCs. [5]
Sensorium Corporation was founded in 2018 by billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, former owner of the Brooklyn Nets. [1] [6] [7] The company developed Sensorium Galaxy, a social virtual reality platform that incorporates social communication tools, graphics, avatars powered by artificial intelligence, and content produced by partner artists and media companies. Epic Games is a Sensorium partner [6] whose 3D creation tool, Unreal Engine, is used in the Sensorium Galaxy platform.
Sensorium Corporation has raised over $100 million in private investments since its foundation. The platform is scheduled for public launch in the first half of 2021. [1] [6] [7]
In April 2020 Yann Pissenem, co-founder of Ushuaïa Ibiza and Hï Ibiza nightclubs, entered into a partnership with Sensorium Corporation to develop artist collaborations for PRISM, a thematic world in Sensorium Galaxy dedicated to electronic music events. [8] Sensorium also signed an agreement with London-based creative studio High Scream to develop the visual concept. [9]
In September 2020, Sensorium Corporation announced DJ David Guetta joined Sensorium Galaxy to host his performances. [10] [11] [12]
In October 2020 British house and techno record producer and DJ Carl Cox confirmed a collaboration with Sensorium Galaxy to create a series of VR-based DJ sets. [13] [14] [15] [16]
Dutch DJ and producer Armin van Buuren announced a series of performances in Sensorium Galaxy. [17] [18] [19]
On October 27, 2023, 'Intermundium', the virtual show created in collaboration with Carl Cox, was released. [20] This 30-minute performance features tracks that were written, produced, and performed by Carl Cox, with his avatar taking center stage. The show was made available in VR, VR-360, and 2D formats, free of charge. By early December 2023, the 2D version of the show on YouTube [21] had garnered over 9 million views.

Space was a superclub on the island of Ibiza, Spain from 1986 to 2016, owned by STANCA. In 2022 the brand opened a bar near Cafe Mambo. They sometimes run popup events around the world, but don't have a fixed club at the time of writing in 2023.

Club Glow is the longest running electronic music event promoter on the East Coast and venue owner based in Washington, DC. Established in 1999. They currently operate the venues Echostage and Soundcheck and host numerous large-scale events and music festivals at the DC Armory and RFK Stadium, including Project GLOW and Moonrise Music Festival. Club Glow regularly brings top international talent to Echostage, and in 2021 the venue obtained the first place in the world by DJ Magazine’s "Top 100 Clubs," and has been voted as "the best electronic music venue in North America" since 2017. Club Glow became a subsidiary of Insomniac Events in 2020 and the creative partnership has helped the company expand throughout the East Coast and beyond.
Café Mambo is a bar located in Sant Antoni de Portmany, Ibiza. It is known for being the official pre party point for Pacha Ibiza, and hosting internationally known DJs such as John Digweed, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo, Benny Benassi, Paul van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, David Guetta, Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia who have a weekly residency there during the summer.

Ultra Europe is a multi-venue outdoor electronic music festival that is a part of Ultra Music Festival's worldwide expansion, which has now spread to twenty countries. Ultra Europe made its debut as a two-day festival during 12–13 July 2013, and took place in Split, Croatia, with an additional Ultra Beach party in Hvar Island, Croatia on 14 July 2013. In 2015, the festival became a part of Destination Ultra which now lasts seven days in the heart of Dalmatia and includes an opening party, the three-day festival, yacht regatta, Ultra Beach, and a closing party.

Virtual concerts can take place in real life, where digital representations of the performers are projected in on stage, or within fully digital virtual worlds. Real life concerts are popular in South Korea, where performances by groups such as Girls' Generation have attracted thousands of fans. Performers in virtual concerts may represent real individuals, but can also be entirely fictitious characters like Hatsune Miku.
