The Seremban War Memorial is a cenotaph situated at Jalan Dato Hamzah, Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia.
The memorial was originally built to commemorate the allied servicemen who lost their lives in the First World War. The site chosen was in front of the State Secretariat Building known as the Government Offices, later the State Library. [1] [2] It was erected at the instigation of the Seremban Branch of the Ex-Services Association of Malaya, and unveiled, at a ceremony which took place on Armistice Day, 11 November 1929, by the British Resident, James Simmons. [3]
The design, in the form of a cenotaph, is modelled on the Whitehall Cenotaph, London, and bears an inscription which states that the memorial commemorates those servicemen who died in the First World War, as well as the Second World War, and the Malayan Emergency.

Another sports centre is the Paroi Sports and Youth Centre, whose stadium was the first in Malaysia to have an artificial turf for its field. In addition, two other sports facilities – the State Sports Complex and the State Aquatic Sports Centre, are located next to Tuanku Abdul Rahman Stadium, and are situated opposite the Paroi Sports and Youth Centre. Also in Paroi is a golf course and a mosque.

He was a founding member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), presently a component party of the Pakatan Harapan (PH), formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR), Barisan Alternatif (BA) and Gagasan Rakyat (GR) opposition coalitions. He served as the 1st Life Advisor of DAP from December 1999 to his death in August 2022 as well as the 1st and founding National Chairman of DAP from its founding in March 1966 to his resignation in December 1999.
