Sergio Choque is a politician from Bolivia who served as President of the Chamber of Deputies of Bolivia. [1] [2] [3]
He was born in September 28,1968 in El Alto. In 2004,he was incarcerated for six years for making false stamped paper. [4]
The politics of Bolivia takes place in a framework of a presidential representative democratic republic,whereby the president is head of state,head of government and head of a diverse multi-party system. Executive power is exercised by the government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two chambers of parliament. Both the Judiciary and the electoral branch are independent of the executive and the legislature. After the 2014 Bolivian general election,53.1% of the seats in national parliament were held by women,a higher proportion of women than that of the population.

El Alto is the second-largest city in Bolivia,located adjacent to La Paz in Pedro Domingo Murillo Province on the Altiplano highlands. El Alto is today one of Bolivia's fastest-growing urban centers,with an estimated population of 943,558 in 2020. It is also the highest major city in the world,with an average elevation of 4,000 m (13,123 ft).
Edmundo Novillo Aguilar is a Bolivian lawyer,politician,and Governor of Cochabamba. His political career includes serving on the Departmental Council,as Mayor of Totora,and as a Deputy in the Bolivian Chamber of Deputies. He was Presidents of the Chamber of Deputies for four years from 2006 to 2010. He is affiliated with the Movement for Socialism (MAS-IPSP),and was the first MAS-IPSP member to serve a President of the Chamber of Deputies.

Luis Fernando López Julio is a Bolivian businessman,retired military officer,and politician who served as minister of defense from 2019 to 2020. Appointed in the tail end of the 2019 political crisis,López,along with Minister of Government Arturo Murillo,quickly became characterized as the "strong men" of the Jeanine Áñez administration and were implicated in the deadly events at Senkata and Sacaba. López was called to hearings by the Plurinational Legislative Assembly but failed to present himself three consecutive times,ultimately resulting in his censure by the legislature. As per the terms of the Constitution,he was dismissed as minister but,exploiting a loophole in the document's text,he was reappointed just a day later. Soon after,reports revealed his participation in the tear gas case,which accused the ministries of government and defense of irregularly purchasing non-lethal weapons at inflated prices.
The 2021 El Alto municipal election was held on Sunday,7 March 2021,to elect the mayor and eleven councillors to the El Alto Municipal Council. Incumbent Mayor Soledad Chapetón was eligible to seek a second term but declined for personal reasons. Fourteen fronts presented candidates. In the election,Eva Copa of the Jallalla La Paz civic group handily defeated Movement for Socialism nominee Zacarías Maquera and thirteen other candidates with 68.70% of the vote to become El Alto's mayor.

Purapurani Aquifer is a natural reservoir of underground water extending across the Bolivian municipalities of El Alto,Laja,Pucarani and Viacha in the Altiplano. Bertha Beatriz Acarapi is a Bolivian politician and former television presenter serving as a party-list member of the Chamber of Deputies from La Paz since 2020. Franz Gróver Choque Ulloa is a Bolivian industrial engineer,lawyer,and politician who served as vice minister of employment,civil service,and cooperatives from 2019 to 2020. A member of the Social Democratic Movement,he previously served as a party-list member of the Chamber of Deputies from Oruro from 2010 to 2014 on behalf of the National Convergence alliance and as a member of the Constituent Assembly from Oruro,representing circumscription 32 from 2006 to 2007 on behalf of the Social Democratic Power alliance.
Anghela Mejía Montecinos is a Bolivian economist and politician who served as a substitute party-list member of the Chamber of Deputies under Franz Choque from Oruro from 2010 to 2014. A youth activist in support of departmental autonomy,she fulfilled the remainder of Choque's term from 2014 to 2015. Barred from contesting local public office in the 2015 regional elections,Mejía sought to return to the Chamber of Deputies in the 2020 elections but was unsuccessful.
Carol Mireya Montaño Rocha is a Bolivian lawyer,politician,and trade unionist who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from La Paz,representing circumscription 11 from 2015 to 2020. A member of the Movement for Socialism,Montaño entered politics as head of the party's youth wing in El Alto,later serving as secretary of organization of the Federation of Neighborhood Councils. Her party's alliance with El Alto's neighborhood councils facilitated Montaño's entry into the Chamber of Deputies. In 2009,she was elected as a substitute deputy representing La Paz's circumscription 14 and in 2014,she became one of the few ruling party parliamentarians to be presented for reelection,this time for a full seat.
Roberto Rojas Herrera was a Bolivian accountant,politician,and trade unionist who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies from La Paz,representing circumscription 15 from 2010 to 2015. A member of the Movement for Socialism,Rojas entered political activity as a member of El Alto's neighborhood councils,serving as secretary of sports for the city's San Pablo Zone before presiding over the District 3 council from 2000 to 2009. One rung above,he served as secretary of organization of the Federation of Neighborhood Councils from 2008 to 2010. The organization's alliance with the Movement for Socialism facilitated Rojas' entry into the Chamber of Deputies. Following his tenure in the legislature,he returned to El Alto,briefly serving as regional manager of the state-owned water and sanitation company before finally retiring from public life.
