The company was founded by Kavikkal Balakrishnan in 1991. In March 2018, the company acquired Innoveo AG, a Switzerland-based insurance tech firm. [7] [8] It acquired Jams UK in May 2013 to expand their network in UK. [6]

In May 2017, The company received the investment of $74 million from Everstone Capital. [2] [9] Earlier, Servion has received the investment of $66 million from Everstone in November 2014. [10] Evertech Pte Ltd holds a majority stake in Servion Global. [2]

In 2006, Servion Global Solutions was backed by Sansar Capital Management LLC, with investment of $6.69 million in the company. [6]
