Seven is a 2023 Bengali crime thriller web series starring Rahul Arunoday Banerjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Ridhima Ghosh, Suprobhat Das, Ankita Chakraborty and Anjan Dutt in key roles. [1] Anjan also wrote and directed the series, [2] and it features music scored by Neel Dutt, [3] [4] cinematography by Pravatendu Mondal, and editing by Arghyakamal Mitra. [5] Set in a misty hill station, Seven follows five friends on a trip. Uncovering a bag containing dollars and a gun, the friends soon find themselves entangled in a thrilling mystery. Plot

Five friends - Subir, Bibek, Ananto, Namita and Ria - embark on a leisure trip to LAVA homestay. On their journey, they stumble upon a bike accident with a bag full of money and a gun. Subir takes the bag, hoping it will solve all their troubles. But the bag and gun soon cause a heated disagreement between them. [8]

In early 2022, ZEE5 announced a slate of Bengali series and films, with Seven being one of them. [9] [10] [11]

On 11 March 2023, ZEE5 unveiled the first look trailer of Seven depicting five friends on a hilly journey that quickly turns awry after an accident. The unexpected event leaves them with a dead body, a gun, and a bag of money. [12]

This seven-episode series started streaming on ZEE5 from 17 March 2023. [8] [13]

Gaurav Chakrabarty is an Indian Bengali film and television actor best known for his portrayal of the character Prodipto Lahiri in the Bengali musical TV series Gaaner Oparey that aired on Star Jalsha from 28 June 2010 to 16 April 2011. Chakrabarty is also known for acting in the Bengali classic periodic thriller TV series Byomkesh (2014-2015), where he played the role of iconic Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. He hails from a family which has had a legacy of association with the Bengali cultural arena, starting from Jochhon Dastidar and Chandra Dastidar, Bijon Bhattacharya, Jagadish Chandra Chakrabarty & Monika Chakrabarty, and his parents Sabyasachi Chakrabarty & Mithu Chakrabarty. Ridhima Ghosh is an Indian Bengali film and television actress. She made her acting debut in the Bengali film Ratporir Rupkotha in 2007. In 2009, she made her television debut in Bengali TV serial Bou Kotha Kao aired in Star Jalsha. After that, she has acted in a number of Bengali films and Bengali TV serials like Rang Milanti, Rajkahini and Byomkesh.

Indrasish Roy is an Indian film and television actor. He played the role of Tintin in serial Gaaner Opare. Later he played the lead role of Chandrakiran Chowdhury, the male protagonist of serial Adwitiya. He debuted in films with Kaushik Ganguly's Rang Milanti.

She is known for her appearances in the Byomkesh series films: Byomkesh Phire Elo (2014), Byomkesh Bakshi (2015), Byomkesh O Chiriyakhana (2016), and Byomkesh O Agnibaan. Her best-known television appearances are Ishti Kutum (2011) as Kamalika and Indrani (2022) as Indrani.

Abar Proloy is a 2023 Bengali crime thriller web series written and directed by Raj Chakraborty and produced by Raj Chakraborty Entertainment and Subhashree Ganguly. The show features an ensemble cast including Paran Bandopadhyay, Saswata Chatterjee, Ritwick Chakraborty, June Maliah, Koushani Mukherjee, Gaurav Chakrabarty, Sohini Sengupta. The series serves as a spin-off of the 2013 film Proloy and was released on the ZEE5 OTT platform on 11 August 2023.
