Bukhari,also spelled as Bokhari,Bukhary and Bukhori,is a common surname in South Asia and in the Muslim world,meaning "from Bukhara".
Burhanpur is a historical city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the administrative seat of Burhanpur District. Mughal architecture is the type of Indo-Islamic architecture developed by the Mughals in the 16th,17th and 18th centuries throughout the ever-changing extent of their empire in the Indian subcontinent. It developed from the architectural styles of earlier Muslim dynasties in India and from Iranian and Central Asian architectural traditions,particularly Timurid architecture. It also further incorporated and syncretized influences from wider Indian architecture,especially during the reign of Akbar. Mughal buildings have a uniform pattern of structure and character,including large bulbous domes,slender minarets at the corners,massive halls,large vaulted gateways,and delicate ornamentation;examples of the style can be found in modern-day Afghanistan,Bangladesh,India and Pakistan.
Syed Kalbe Abid Naqvi was a mujtahid from Lucknow,India who preached Shia Islam. His father was Syed Kalbe Hussain and grandfather was Syed Hasan Naqvi Aqa Hasan. He was an elder brother of Dr. Kalbe Sadiq,a Padma Bhushan-awarded scholar. His son,Syed Kalbe Jawad is also a scholar and the chief of the Shia population in Lucknow,India. He died in 1986 after being involved in a car crash while on his way to read a majlis. His funeral prayer was also performed at Teele Wali Masjid in the Imamat of Former Shahi Imam of Teele Wali Masjid Maulana Syed Shah Fazlur Rahman Waizi. His final 10 set of Majlises which he read in Imambara Ghufran Ma'ab in 1986 has been entitled "Majlis-e-Azeem".
Indo-Islamic architecture is the architecture of the Indian subcontinent produced by and for Islamic patrons and purposes. Despite an initial Arab presence in Sindh,the development of Indo-Islamic architecture began in earnest with the establishment of Delhi as the capital of the Ghurid dynasty in 1193. Succeeding the Ghurids was the Delhi Sultanate,a series of Central Asian dynasties that consolidated much of North India,and later the Mughal Empire by the 15th century. Both of these dynasties introduced Islamic architecture and art styles from West Asia into the Indian subcontinent.
The Jaunpur Sultanate was an Indian Muslim state which ruled over much of what is now the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar between 1394 and 1494. It was founded in 1394 by Khwajah-i-Jahan Malik Sarwar,an eunuch slave and former wazir of Sultan Nasiruddin Muhammad Shah IV Tughluq,amidst the disintegration of the Delhi Sultanate's Tughlaq dynasty. Centred in Jaunpur,the Sultanate extended authority over a large part of the Ganges-Yamuna Doab. It reached its greatest height under the rule of Sultan Ibrahim Shah,who also vastly contributed to the development of Islamic education in the Sultanate. In 1494,Sultan Hussain Khan was defeated by the forces of the Afghan ruler Bahlul Lodi,Sultan of the Lodi dynasty of the Delhi Sultanate at Benares at which point Hussain fled to Kahalgaon in modern-day Bihar where the Sultan of Bengal assigned him a pargana. Here he was allowed to mint his own coins and was promised help from Bengal in recovering his kingdom. He died in 1505.
Mufti Mukarram Ahmed is an Indian Muslim religious and literary scholar. Ahmad is the Shahi Imam and Khateeb of Shahi Masjid Fatehpuri Mosque,India's second largest mosque.

Daranagar is a town in Kaushambi,a suburb of Allahabad,in Uttar Pradesh,India. Tarakote formerly Shergarh-Tarakote Estate was a quasi princely state in Korei,Odisha which was established under the Mughal Empire as a Sarakaar and was later reduced to an intermediary princely estate during the subsequent Maratha and the British rule. Its capital was at Tarakote,in the western part of the present day Korei block.
Shaykh 'Ali Shīr al-Ḥanafīal-Bangālī,or simply Ali Sher Bengali,was a 16th-century Bengali author,teacher and Sufi pir of the Shattari order. He was one of the three khalifahs (successors) of Muhammad Ghawth Shattari.
