Shady Hanna is a Canadian cinematographer. [1] [2] He is best known for his work on the documentary film Swan Song (2023). [3] In 2025, he was named one of the "Rising Stars of Cinematography" by the American Society of Cinematographers. [4]

Life and career

Hanna was born in Cairo, Egypt, and later settled in Toronto, Canada, where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film production from York University. [5] [6] He is a member of the Canadian Society of Cinematographers (CSC). [7]
