Shamil Gitinov (born 4 July 1979) is a retired Armenian Freestyle wrestler of Avar descent. [1] He won a silver medal in 2006 and a bronze medal in 2007 at the European Wrestling Championships. [2]
Armen Nazaryan is an Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler who later represented Bulgaria. Nazaryan is a two-time Olympic Champion, a three-time World Champion, and a six-time European Champion. After Armenia regained independence in 1991, Nazaryan became the first Olympic gold medalist for the country. He was recognized by the FILA as the best wrestler of the year in 1998 and 2003. In 2007, Nazaryan was inducted as a member of the FILA Hall of Fame.

Levan Berianidze is a Georgian-Armenian male freestyle wrestler. He won a bronze medal for Georgia at the 2010 World Wrestling Championships in Moscow. In 2011 he won the gold medal in Beach Wrestling. On 26 November 2014, Berianidze was given Armenian citizenship and freed from service in the Armenian army. Berianidze competed for Armenia at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio. He won a bronze medal for Armenia at the 2017 World Wrestling Championships in Paris and in European Wrestling Championship in Serbia. Besides, Levan won the European Sumo Championship in 2013 in Germany and got a silver medal at the 2014 European Sumo Championship in Bulgaria.
Levon Julfalakyan is a former Soviet Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler. He is an Olympic, World, and European Champion and was merited Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR in 1988. Julfalakyan is the current head coach of the Armenian national Greco-Roman wrestling team and President of the Union of Armenian Olympians, as well as a member of the executive committee of the NOC.
Mnatsakan Iskandaryan is a former Armenian Greco-Roman wrestler who competed for the Soviet Union and Russia. Iskandaryan is an Olympic Champion, three-time World Champion, and two-time European Champion. He earned the rank Honoured Master of Sports of the USSR in 1991 and was named Honoured Coach of Russia in 2000. Shamil Khisamutdinov is a Russian wrestler. He won an Olympic gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling in 1972, competing for the Soviet Union. He won gold medals at the 1973 and 1975 World Wrestling Championships. He was affiliated with Spartak Moscow.

Shamil Alievitch Musaev is a Russian freestyle wrestler who currently competes at 97 kilograms. The 2017 Junior World Champion, Musaev was the 2019 U23 World and European silver medalist and has medaled at prestigious Russian tournaments, such as the Russian Nationals and the Golden Grand Prix Ivan Yarygin.
