Shane Breen (born 16 September 1974) is an Irish show jumper.
He has represented Ireland all over the world on Nation's Cup teams.

The pair were members of the World Championship team at Aachen, 2006. They have also represented Ireland on many Nations Cup teams, including winning the 4* Nations Cup of Linz, Austria in 2007, and jumping double clear in the Nations Cup of Dublin, 2006. The pair have also many International wins to their names.

A great Derby horse: Winner of the 'Ford Ranger' Eventers Grand Prix at CSI5* Hickstead, 2006. Also winner of the Speed Derby at the CSIO5* Dublin Horse Show, 2009. The pair finished 2nd in the Hickstead Derby in 2011.

A very good speed horse: In 2006, Dorada won the Speed Derby and Speed Classic in Arezzo, Italy, and he won the Speed Derby at the CSIO5* Dublin Horse Show. In 2007, the pair finished 4th in the Hickstead Derby. They also finished 2nd in the Derby of Lummen in 2011.

A member of many Nations Cup teams, including jumping double-clear at 4* Lummen (team won), and 5* La Baule 2010. They also won the Grand Prix of Lummen the same year. They finished in the top 10 in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Germany in Hamburg 2011.

Boomerang, later Carroll's Boomerang, was an Irish-bred showjumping horse of the 1970s. He won the Hickstead Derby four years in a row, a record, and was one of the greatest of that or any decade. Boomerang also held the record for prize-money. Standing 16.2 hh, Boomerang was ridden in show jumping most successfully by Eddie Macken, as well as by Liz Edgar (Broome), Johan Heins and Paul Schockemöhle.

Benjamin Richard Maher MBE is a British show jumper. He represented Britain at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, 2009 European Championships in Windsor, 2012 London Olympics, 2016 Rio Olympics and the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He won the team jumping gold at the London Olympics with Team GB, their first team jumping gold medal for 60 years, and an individual gold for Great Britain at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. He also won bronze at the 2011 Europeans Championships in Madrid, Spain. He has won many international Grand Prix, including the Olympia Grand Prix, the King George V Gold Cup at Hickstead and an FEI World Cup Qualifier Grand Prix at Wellington with various rides.

Jessica Mendoza is one of the UK's top female equestrian athletes, who broke into the world's top 100 riders, and into the top 10 British showjumping riders in Spring 2015. She is also a regular contributor to the British monthly magazine PONY.
Catapulte is a pinto-bay show jumping mare of Dutch origin, registered in the Belgian Sport Horse studbook (SBS). French rider Michel Robert acquired Catapulte in 2007, following her first foaling, to train her in show jumping. In 2012 and 2013, Catapulte won numerous prizes, but she never reached Grand Prix level. Despite this, she gained fame and a dedicated fan club.
Chiara 222 was a gray mare registered in the Holsteiner studbook and ridden in show jumping. This daughter of Contender was born in the Oldenburg region. After a successful debut under the saddle of Irish rider Cameron Hanley, she was snapped up by Germany's Ludger Beerbaum, with whom she won three silver medals, at the 2013 European Dressage and Show Jumping Team Championships, at the 2013-2014 Show Jumping World Cup Final as an individual, and then at the 2014 World Equestrian Games as a team. She was euthanized in April 2019, at the age of 16, following a bout of colic, without the possibility of retirement.
Domino van de Middelstede is a bay gelding from the BWP studbook, ridden in show jumping by the young Belgian rider Jos Verlooy, then by an American, Audrey Coulter. He was acquired at the age of 7 by Axel Verlooy, owner of a commercial stable and father of Jos Verlooy, to enable his son to become an international rider. The pair built a successful career, placing 5th in the final of the 2014-2015 Show Jumping World Cup in Las Vegas, in their first appearance at this level of competition. Failing to qualify for the 2016 Summer Olympics, the Verlooys then sold Domino to Audrey Coulter. Renowned for his intelligence and pleasant disposition, Domino was retired at the end of 2018, at the age of 15.
Flora de Mariposa was a chestnut show-jumping mare registered in the Belgian Warmblood studbook, born on April 26, 2005 in Belgium at the Herman de Brabander stud. She achieved excellent results in her early years, from age 4 to 7, under the saddle of Belgian rider Kurt De Clercq. French rider Geneviève Mégret, owner of the Clarbec stud farm in the Pays d'Auge region, acquired her at the end of 2012 and entrusted her to Rouen rider Pénélope Leprévost, who took her to the highest level. Flora de Mariposa was the French revelation of 2014, despite her young age, thanks to her performances during the World Equestrian Games. In 2015, she won two Grand Prix and had the best season of any French show jumping horse, earning her the title of "Horse of the Year". Selected for the 2016 Rio Olympics, she won a team gold medal. Injured in 2017, she fell to another rider, Félicie Bertrand, at the end of 2018. She died of endotoxemia at the age of 15 on July 30, 2020.
Pégase du Mûrier is a gray show jumping stallion registered in the Selle Français studbook. Purchased at the Fences sales by a jeweler, he successfully completed the classic cycle of young French show jumping horses, before being entrusted at the age of 7 to a little-known rider, Sébastien Duplant, with whom he won the title of vice-champion of France Pro Élite in 2014. That same year, he was snapped up by international rider Roger-Yves Bost, who went on to win numerous Grand Prix titles, particularly in 2017. Retired at the end of 2018, Pégase du Mûrier is now devoted to breeding at the Saint-Lô stud farm.
Otello du Soleil was a bay-colored sport horse registered in the Selle Français studbook, who has been ridden mainly by Swiss show jumper Romain Duguet. He was a son of Alligator Fontaine and a daughter of Papillon Rouge.
Quickly de Kreisker is a Selle Français show jumping stallion born on February 5, 2004, at a stud in Finistère. Sired by Diamant de Semilly and Briseis d'Helby by Laudanum, he was sold by the Fences agency as a two-year-old. He spent several years in France on the classic cycle, trained by Benjamin Robert and Bruno Souloumiac's Breton stables. At the end of 2012, King Mohammed VI of Morocco bought him under Marcel Rozier's supervision, and entrusted him to Abdelkebir Ouaddar, a Moroccan rider.
