Shanghai Planetarium is a planetarium to open in 2020, in Lingang New City, Pudong New Area district, Shanghai. Its dome covers 38,000 square meters. When open, it will be the world's largest planetarium. [1] The planetarium will serve as an educational and entertainment site for visitors. [2]

Line 16 is a rapid transit line serving the south-eastern suburban areas of Shanghai. The line is colored aqua on system maps. It was originally designated as Line 21 and was planned as the south part of Line 11. The line runs entirely in Pudong New Area, starting from Longyang Road, via Shanghai Wild Animal Park, Huinan Town, ending at Dishui Lake in Nanhui New City. The line is 59 km (37 mi) long and has 13 stations of which three are underground and the rest elevated. Construction begun in early 2009, and the line opened on 29 December 2013. The second phase was completed at the end of 2014, providing interchanges to Lines 2, 7, 11, 13 and 18.

Tesla Gigafactory 3 is a factory currently under construction in Shanghai, China by Tesla, Inc. The facility will produce battery cells along with Tesla Model 3 and Tesla Model Y cars, at an initial production rate target of 250,000 electric cars per year.
