Sharif Karim Fajardo Blanding is a Puerto Rican former professional basketball player. Fajardo has played in the CBA, NCAA, and the National Superior Basketball League of Puerto Rico (BSN) with Santurce Crabbers, Quebradillas Pirates and the San Germán Athletics. Fajardo has played internationally in France, Italy, and Greece. Fajardo participated in the 2005 Pre-Season Training Camp of the Toronto Raptors of the NBA. Fajardo was a member of the Puerto Rican National Basketball Team, most notably the 2004 Puerto Rican National Basketball Team that defeated the United States at the 2004 Olympic Games in Greece.

Nicknamed "the Mad Bomber", Ford played most of his NBA career on the Detroit Pistons, before finishing his playing career at the Boston Celtics. In the Celtics' season opener in 1979–80, he was credited with making the first official three-point shot in NBA history. He won an NBA championship with the Celtics in 1981.

Rivera has played in the NCAA, NJCAA, and has also played internationally in Germany and Italy. He was also a member of the Puerto Rican national team earlier in his career.
Miguel Ali Berdiel is a Puerto Rican professional basketball player for Leones de Ponce of the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN). Berdiel has played in the NCAA, CBA, the NBA G League, and the BSN. Internationally, Berdiel has played in Belgium, Slovenia, Cyprus, Mexico and Uruguay. Berdiel was a member of the Puerto Rico national basketball team from 2007 until 2014.

Lee has played with the Guaynabo Conquistadores in the National Superior Basketball league of Puerto Rico, he played with Vaqueros de Bayamón from 2009 to 2012. Internationally he has played with the Guaros (Venezuela), CAB (Portugal), Regatas C. (Argentina), LNBP (Mexico) and Metros. In 2007, Lee was included as a small forward in the Puerto Rico national basketball team. In 2009, he won the Puerto Rico national championship with Bayamon.
Rony Fahed is a Lebanese professional basketball player currently a free agent in the Lebanese Basketball League. He was also a member of the Lebanon national basketball team that participated in the 2002 FIBA World Championship in Indianapolis in the United States, in the 2006 FIBA World Championship which took place in Japan, and in the 2010 FIBA World Championship held in Turkey. Fahed also participated at the 2007 FIBA Asia Championship, 2009 FIBA Asia Championship and other international tournaments.
The 1999 FIBA European Championship, commonly called FIBA EuroBasket 1999, was the 31st FIBA EuroBasket regional basketball championship held by FIBA Europe, which also served as Europe qualifier for the 2000 Olympic Tournament, giving a berth to the top five teams in the final standings. It was held in France between 21 June and 3 July 1999. Sixteen national teams entered the event under the auspices of FIBA Europe, the sport's regional governing body. The cities of Antibes, Clermont-Ferrand, Dijon, Le Mans, Paris, Pau and Toulouse hosted the tournament. Italy won its second FIBA European title by defeating Spain with a 64–56 score in the final. Italy's Gregor Fučka was voted the tournament's MVP.

Malcolm Hakeem Delaney is an American-Ukrainian professional basketball player who last played for Olimpia Milano of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. He is from Baltimore, Maryland, and attended Towson Catholic High School. Delaney played college basketball for the Virginia Tech Hokies men's basketball team. At the end of his college career, Delaney declared for the 2011 NBA draft. He was not drafted, and instead began his professional basketball career overseas, playing one season each for Élan Chalon, Budivelnyk Kyiv, and Bayern Munich, and later joined Lokomotiv Kuban for two seasons. In 2016, he earned an All-EuroLeague First Team selection.

He graduated from Gwynn Park High School in Brandywine, Maryland, and also attended Fork Union Military Academy in Fork Union, Virginia, for his freshman and sophomore years in high school. He attended University of South Carolina before transferring to Voorhees College in Denmark, South Carolina, where he played as a point guard/shooting guard. After he left college, he played for a number of professional and semi-professional teams: the Baltimore Blaze, the Fresno Heatwave, the Idaho Stampede, and the Michigan Mayhem, Brooklyn Kings, Gary Steelheads, Colorado 14ers, Pennsylvania Valleydawgs, Sioux Falls Skyforce, Texas Legends. Played in the Dominican Republic again in 2008–2009 season. In 2009–2010 he played for the Maryland Greenhawks, and in 2010–2011 he played for the Tri-City Suns. He sign with the Barreteros de Zacatecas for 2011–2012 season.
Kayla Renae McBride is an American professional basketball player for the Minnesota Lynx of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and Fenerbahçe of the Turkish Super League (KBSL). She was drafted third overall by the San Antonio Stars in the 2014 WNBA draft. McBride played shooting guard for Notre Dame, where she led the Fighting Irish to four consecutive Final Fours and three NCAA championship appearances.
