Shehzar Mohammad (born 12 November 1991) Pakistani first-class cricketer who has played for Pakistan International Airlines and Karachi Whites and a fitness trainer. [1]
He is the grandson of cricketer Hanif Mohammad and son of cricketer Shoaib Mohammad. [2] Hanif was one of the five Mohammad brothers,four of whom (Wazir,Mushtaq. Sadiq and Hanif himself) played Test cricket for Pakistan,as did Shehzar's father Shoaib. In 2021,Shehzar married actress Sohai Ali Abro. [3]
In October 2018,he hit 265 for Karachi Whites against Multan at the Multan Cricket Stadium in a 2018–19 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy match. [4] He became the sixth member of his family to hit a first-class double ton. [5]
In September 2019,he was named in Sindh's squad for the 2019–20 Quaid-e-Azam Trophy tournament. [6] [7]
Having done certificate courses in Sports Biomechanics and CrossFit from the United States,he has opened a gym in Karachi and has trained cricketers who represented Pakistan,including Shan Masood and Azhar Ali,and also celebrities from other fields,such as actors Bilal Ashraf and Mohib Mirza. [8]
Hanif Mohammad PP was a Pakistani cricketer. He played for the Pakistani cricket team in 55 Test matches between the 1952–53 season and the 1969–70 season. He averaged 43.98,scoring twelve centuries. At his peak,he was considered one of the best batsmen in the world despite playing at a time when Pakistan played very little Test cricket;Hanif played just 55 Test matches in a career spanning 17 years. In his obituary by ESPNcricinfo,he was honoured as the original Little Master,a title later assumed by Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar. He was the first Pakistani to score a triple hundred in a Test match.
Wazir Mohammad is a former Pakistani cricketer and banker who played in 20 Test matches for Pakistan national cricket team between 1952 and 1959.
