Shelley Calene-Black is an American voice actress who has provided voices for a number of English language versions of Japanese anime films and television series. She has worked for Funimation, ADV Films and Sentai Filmworks. Some of Calene-Black's leading voice roles include Mireille in Noir , Kyou Fujibayashi in Clannad , Medaka Kurokami in Medaka Box , Hamyuts Meseta in The Book of Bantorra and Hime in Princess Resurrection. For live action, she played the lead role of Maria Patterson in the Mariusz Kotowski-directed Holocaust film Esther's Diary .

Biography

Calene-Black was born and raised in Texas. She studied theatre at the University of Houston and worked on stage in New York City. After returning to Houston, she worked on local theatre groups such as the Alley Theatre and Stages Repertory Theatre. [1]

<i>Appleseed</i> (2004 film) 2004 animated feature film directed by Shinji Aramaki

Appleseed is a 2004 Japanese animated post-apocalyptic science fiction film directed by Shinji Aramaki and based on the Appleseed manga created by Masamune Shirow. It features the voice acting of Ai Kobayashi, Jūrōta Kosugi, Mami Koyama, Yuki Matsuoka, and Toshiyuki Morikawa. The film tells the story of Deunan Knute, a former soldier, who searches for data that can restore the reproductive capabilities of bioroids, a race of genetically engineered clones. Although it shares characters and settings with the original manga, this film's storyline is a re-interpretation, not a true adaptation. This Appleseed film should not be confused with the 1988 OVA which was also inspired by the manga. Appleseed was released on April 18, 2004.

Emily Marie Neves is an American actress, script writer and voice director known for her work on English adaptations of Japanese anime shows and films associated with Funimation and Sentai Filmworks/Seraphim Digital. Some of her major voice roles include Kotomi Ichinose in Clannad, Kanade "Angel" Tachibana in Angel Beats, Minene Uryu in Future Diary, Yuko Kanoe in Dusk Maiden of Amnesia, and Ayase Shinomiya in Guilty Crown. In 2005, she was a preliminary contestant for the fourth season of American Idol at the Las Vegas auditions where she advanced to the Hollywood round and was then eliminated. Margaret "Meg" McDonald is an American voice actress, working primarily for Seraphim Digital and Sentai Filmworks. <i>Hakumei and Mikochi</i> Japanese manga series

Hakumei and Mikochi is a Japanese manga series by Takuto Kashiki. It has been serialized since 2011 in Enterbrain's seinen manga magazine Fellows!, which was renamed to Harta in 2013. It has been collected in seven tankōbon volumes. A 12-episode anime television series adaptation by Lerche aired from January 12 to March 30, 2018. An original video animation will be included on the second Blu-ray/DVD volume released on June 27, 2018. Sentai Filmworks licensed the anime.
