Shelly Echols (born October 9,1979) is an American politician. She is a member of the Georgia State Senate from the 49th district,serving since 2023. She is a member of the Republican Party. [1] [2] Prior to being elected to the Georgia State Senate,she served one term on the Hall County Board of Commissioners as a District 3 Commissioner.
The Kentucky Senate is the upper house of the Kentucky General Assembly. The Kentucky Senate is composed of 38 members elected from single-member districts throughout the Commonwealth. There are no term limits for Kentucky senators. The Kentucky Senate meets at the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort annually beginning in January. Sessions last for 60 legislative days in even-numbered years and 30 legislative days in odd-numbered years.
Mercer University School of Law is the law school of Mercer University. Kim Lee Ward is an American politician who served as acting lieutenant governor of Pennsylvania and currently serves as President pro tempore of the Pennsylvania Senate. She represents the 39th Senatorial District which covers the central portions of Westmoreland County,Pennsylvania. A runoff election for one of Georgia's seats in the United States Senate was held on December 6,2022. The runoff was scheduled because none of the candidates for Senate received 50% of the statewide vote in the general election. Also up for election were all of Georgia's executive officers and legislative seats,as well as one seat on the Georgia Public Service Commission.
