SherShah is a neighbourhood in Karachi, Pakistan, [1] that is located along the northern bank of the Lyari River. Sher Shah is home to the Morroro Graveyard - a vast cemetery that is centuries old. [2] It is also the site of some of Karachi's recycling industry. [3] In October 2010, Baloch terrorists gunned down 13 members of the Urdu-speaking community in a spare-parts market. [4]

In the Shershah there is water shortage at Muhammadi Road, Block B, since last 10 years. There is no water for public because the tanker mafia has possessed the water heading. There are poor people and they are not able to purchase water for daily use. MNA & MPA are belong to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and they are deliberately failed to resolve these basic issues of Muhammadi Road, Block-B including sewerage and road structure.

There are several ethnic groups in Kiamari Town including Urdu speakers, Sindhis, Punjabis, Kashmiris, Seraikis, Pakhtuns, Balochs, Memons, Bohras and Ismailis.

Sher Shah neighbourhood and Sher Shah Bridge in Kiamari Town of Karachi is named after Sher Shah Bukhari Khurasani. Sher Shah Park in Wah Cantt, Pakistan, is named in the honour of Sher Shah Suri.
