Sherry Ramsay Shi is an American model. During Fashion Week 2022, Shi walked the most shows and opened for major designers. Born and raised in Houston, Texas Shi started modelling at the age of 16 and was signed later with IMG Models. [4] She currently ranks in the Top 50 Models at Models.com. [5]
Sherry Shi was born on 26 February 2002 in Houston, Texas. Her parents are Chinese Immigrants. [6] Shi also has 2 older siblings and was introduced to modelling by her older sister who was also a model.
Shi started modelling professionally at the age of 16 and was later signed to IMG models. Her first modelling job was Alexander Wang’s 2019 resort. [6] Shi was encouraged to take modelling classes at the age of 13, by a scout at her sister's agency. Shi practiced for 4 years to develop her own walk and drew inspiration from models such as Mariacarla Boscono, Natasha Poly, Vittoria Ceretti and Kaia Gerber. [7] In 2021 Shi appeared on the American Vogue's Cover along with Bella Hadid and Precious Lee. [8]
In 2022 Shi appeared on the Hong Kong and Chinese Vogue and in 2023 Shi appeared in the Chinese Vogue again. [9]
Shi walked 39 shows during the fashion week 2022–2023 season, more than any other model. [10]
As of 2024, Shi has walked nearly 200 fashion shows for prestigious brands worldwide. [11]
Gemma Louise Ward is an Australian model and actress. Born in Perth, Western Australia, Ward was first scouted at the age of 14, and made her Australian Fashion Week debut aged 15. She later became one of the youngest models to appear on the cover of the American edition of Vogue, subsequently appearing on the covers of both Teen Vogue and Time. Vogue Paris would later declare her as one of the top 30 models of the 2000s. Ward is widely considered to be a supermodel.
Irina Valeryevna Shaykhlislamova, known professionally as Irina Shayk, is a Russian model and television personality.
