Putra Sheva Sanggasi (born 1 May 2004) is an Indonesian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Super League club Persijap Jepara. [2]
Sheva progressed through the Persib Bandung youth academy (Cimahi) during 2022–23 and was promoted to the senior squad for the 2023–24 Liga 1 season. [3]
He made his professional debut for Persib Bandung on 1 March 2025 in a Liga 1 away match against Persebaya Surabaya at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium. Entering in the 77th minute as a substitute for Kevin Ray Mendoza, Sheva conceded three goals in the remaining minutes while Persib suffered a 1–4 defeat. [4] He did not feature again that season and had his contract terminated in late June 2025 by mutual agreement. [5]
On 4 July 2025, Sheva signed for Persijap Jepara ahead of their return to Super League for the Super League. [6] Sheva chose 99 as his squad number, when he made his debut with Persijap in a pre-season friendly against Persipura Jayapura in a 0–0 draw on 26 July 2025, which also served as his team's squad launch that day in preparation for the start of the League. [7]
Sheva is described as a tall, right-footed goalkeeper with strong aerial ability and composure. Despite conceding three goals on his debut, he earned praise for his mental toughness and potential. [3]
