Klein Independent School District is a school district that covers 87.5 square miles (227 km2) in Harris County, Texas, United States. It became an independent school district in 1938. Almost all of the territory is unincorporated; a small portion of Houston is within the district. In the 2018–2019 school year, Klein ISD had 53,328 students. Klein ISD is part of the taxation base for the Lone Star College System. As of 2020, Jenny McGown is Superintendent of Schools.

The district was established in 1914 as consolidation of three earlier school districts in the region that were established as early as 1891. The majority of district facilities, including the main office, are located on a campus located south of Washington State Route 531 in North Lakewood.
