Shogun Films (formerly GoodKnight Films) is an Indian film production company, which produces mainly Malayalam films. It is owned by R. Mohan (also known as GoodKnight Mohan). It has also produced Hindi films such as Gardish and Kabhi Na Kabhi , which established popular director Priyadarshan in Bollywood. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]

Priyadarshan is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer who works predominantly in Malayalam and Hindi films, while also having done six films in Tamil and two films in Telugu. He has done about 27 films in Hindi alone, the highest number of films done by any Hindi film director after David Dhawan. He was one of the first directors in India to introduce rich color grading, clear sound and quality dubbing through his early Malayalam films. Priyadarshan has also directed many advertisement films.

Sherin Shringar, known by her stage name Sherin or Shirin is an Indian actress, who has appeared in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Telugu-language films. After making her debut in Kannada films, her notable films include Thulluvadho Ilamai (2002), and Whistle (2003). In 2019, Sherin participated in Bigg Boss Tamil season 3 and emerged as the 3rd runner up.

Prashanth rose to stardom with Shankar's blockbuster romantic comedy Jeans (1998). The success of this film saw him garner opportunities to work in bigger film projects and in the late 1990s, he featured in a series of breakthrough films such as Kannedhirey Thondrinal (1998), Kaadhal Kavithai (1998), Jodi (1999) and Star (2001).

Kabhi Na Kabhi is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language action film co-written and directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff and Pooja Bhatt. The film was produced by R. Mohan in the banner of a Malayalam film production company, Shogun Films. The film which began production in 1994 had a delayed release on 17 April 1998.

Sri Rama Rajyam is a 2011 Indian Telugu-language Hindu mythological film directed by Bapu who co-wrote the film with Mullapudi Venkata Ramana, and produced by Yalamanchali Saibabu. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Nayanthara, Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Srikanth, and Roja with music composed by Ilaiyaraaja. The film is based on the epic Ramayana. The film was Bapu's final directorial venture. The film depicts Rama's rule of Ayodhya after he returns home from Lanka, his separation from Sita and her reclusive life in the forest as she raises their children Lava and Kusa. Sri Rama Rajyam is a reboot of the 1963 blockbuster film Lava Kusa.

Priyadarshan is an Indian film director, producer, and screenwriter. Priyadarsan movies are mostly known for their comedy but he did an artistically historical epic film about freedom fighters in India known as Kaalapani and his epic period drama is Kanchivaram. In a career spanning almost three decades, Priyadarshan has directed over 90 films in several Indian languages, predominantly Malayalam and Hindi, besides six in Tamil, and two in Telugu. Though he began his career in Malayalam cinema in 1984, Priyadarshan was active mainly in Hindi cinema for 2001–2010. In 2013, he announced Rangrezz would be his last Hindi film for a while; and he is shifting focus to Malayalam Cinema.

The Show People is an Indian film production company established by Indian actor Arya. The studio has primarily been involved in the production of Arya's Tamil language films, having worked on films including Boss Engira Bhaskaran (2010) and Vasuvum Saravananum Onna Padichavanga (2015). Arya has also worked as a producer and distributor through the production studio August Cinema where he has worked with Prithviraj, Shaji Nadesan and Santosh Sivan on Malayalam language films.
