Shola is the third and final album released by Pakistani pop music group, Awaz. It was released after Jadu Ka Chiraagh , the band's second album. This album was released in 1996 by Lips Records (Private) Limited and BMG Records (UK) Limited.

Awaz was a Pakistani pop band that formed in Karachi, Sindh, in 1992. The group was formed by Haroon Rashid, lead vocalist, who was soon joined by keyboardist Faakhir Mehmood and lead guitarist Asad Ahmed. Awaz were one of the pioneer bands of the local pop music scene and were highly skilled and talented musicians, producers and composers. The band's skill at composing and producing was often overlooked and the focus was on their good looks, glossy videos, catch songs and wild stage performances. Awaz is also regarded as one of the most successful band in Pakistan having sold more than 2 million albums worldwide.

Awaz
Haroon (singer) British Pakistani musician

Aaron Haroon Rashid is an award winning British born Pakistani musician, singer, music producer, composer, director and social activist born in London, UK to a New Zealand mother and Pakistani father. He has sold millions of singles and albums worldwide and has performed at large venues such as the Wembley Arena. Haroon is the creator and director of the hugely successful and internationally acclaimed multi award winning Pakistani 3D animated TV series Burka Avenger. Haroon is the CEO and founder of Unicorn Black an animation production company that is the production company behind Burka Avenger, Teetoo and Tania, Quaid Se Baatein and other successful animated TV shows.

Asad Ahmed musician, record producer and entrepreneur

Asad Ahmed is a Pakistani guitarist. His first stint was forming The Barbarians. He has been a member of the famous pop trio Awaz, has played with Junoon, Vital Signs and was a founding member of the rock band Karavan. Asad is considered as the founder of Rock Music in Pakistan. He is currently a Solo Artist.

Karavan

Karavan was a hard rock band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, formed in 1997. The band was founded by, former Awaz lead guitarist, Asad Ahmed with the help of his friend and bassist Sameer Ahmed, who were soon joined by drummer Allan Smith and vocalist Najam Sheraz. Karavan is known for fusing eastern percussion and melodies with modern rock. Since their inception, the group has released a collective total of five albums: including four studio albums; and one live album.

Wakas Mir, is a Pakistani-born Norwegian radio host best known for his online radio show, Wakas Mir LIVE. He has also been the host for a radio talk show in Oslo, Norway called ApniAwaz Radio. "Meri Awaz Suno" is a song by the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released in 1995. It the second track from the band's fourth album, Azadi (1997), released on EMI Records. The song is written by lead guitarist Salman Ahmad and writer Sabir Zafar. It remains one of the band's most popular songs.

<i>Talaash</i> (album) album by Junoon

Talaash is the second studio album of the Pakistani sufi rock band Junoon, released on September 3, 1993. The album was to be their first with bassist Brian O'Connell, who joined the band after Nusrat Hussain departed from the band to pursue his career as a solo artist and released his debut album Amrit in 1992. This was also the first Junoon album produced by Salman Ahmad and O'Connell, both also went on releasing several other albums by Junoon before O'Connell left the band after Dewaar in 2003. The album also served as a soundtrack for the Pakistani television show Talaash, which featured the band and its novel storyline was based on the band.

"I Am The Law" is a single by thrash metal band Anthrax, from the album, Among the Living. It is one of Anthrax's most famous songs, appearing on their best-of albums: Return of the Killer A's, Madhouse: The Very Best of Anthrax and Anthrology: No Hit Wonders (1985–1991).

"Shikva" is a song by Pakistani recording artist Faakhir Mehmood from his fourth studio album Jee Chahay (2011). It was released in the Pakistan as a digital download in 2011 and revised addition in 2014. "Shikva" is a love-inspired balled that details the protagonist pleading with his lover to leave the drug addiction. The song was written by Prashant Vasal an Indian poet, while composed and produced by Fakhir himself and directed by Adnan Khandar.
