Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute (SVI) is an academic institution in Balaju, Kathmandu, Nepal. It runs from primary school level to secondary high school up to university level courses. It was founded by Bhuwan Lal Joshi and Vijaynandan Joshi in 1951.[ citation needed ]

Govinda Raj Joshi is a Nepalese politician. Govinda Raj Joshi was born in 1949 at Khalte village in Rupakot Village Development Committee of Tanahun district, Nepal, He stepped into the field of politics in 1964 when he had just begun his student life. Joshi who regards late BP Koirala as his ideal was the president of the free student union and Gandaki Student Council in 1967. Joshi was a member of Tarun Dal, the youth wing of the Nepali Congress Party, in the year 1969 in Tanahun district, He formed the Nepali Congress Tanahun district committee and was the secretary of Nepali Congress, Tanahun, in 1976, He was the secretary of the multiparty campaign committee of Nepali Congress Party in 1979, He was the vice- president of Nepali Congress Party, Tanahun district and eventually made it to the central committee member of the party in the year 1997. Likewise, Mr. Joshi was elected as a central committee member of the party in the year 2000. Twice a central committee member; Mr. Joshi has already held the post of a joint general secretary of the party. Waling Municipality, located in the heart of Syangja, is a town and municipality in the western hilly region of [[Nepal]. It was formed on 24 January 1997 by the merging of the then three VDCs namely Waling, Dhanubase and Pekhubaaghkhor. Narayan Kaji Shrestha, alias Prakash, is a Nepali communist politician currently serving as the Deputy Prime Minister of Nepal. Narayan Prasad Rajbhandari, professionally known as Chittaranjan Nepali, was a Nepalese writer and historian. He received the first ever Madan Puraskar for Janaral Bhimsen Thapa Ra Tatkalin Nepal, a biographical book on the life of prime minister Bhimsen Thapa. He wrote in Nepali as well as Nepalbhasa.

Laxman Rajbanshi was the founding principal of the Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and a member of the Nepalese parliament. He had also authored many books in Nepali as well as Nepal Bhasa. Some of his works in Nepal Bhasa to be translated into English include Red Sun and other stories, Uncertain Future and other stories, etc.

Changa Chet is a 2018 Nepalese romantic comedy-drama film directed by Dipendra K Khanal. The film is written by Pradip Bhardwaj who is the highest paid screenwriter of nepalese film industry, and produced by Madhav Wagle and Sharmila Pandey. The film stars Ayushman Joshi, Rabindra Jha, Sandip Chhetri, Arpan Thapa, Priyanka Karki, Paramita Rana, Surakshya Panta in the lead roles.
