Side By Side was an American hardcore punk band on Revelation Records. They were a band from NY of youth crew persuasion. Recorded output was limited to a single 7", You're Only Young Once... Their 7" was the fifth record released by Revelation Records.

Ray Cappo American vocalist

Ray Cappo is the vocalist for the hardcore punk band Youth of Today, and former vocalist for the bands Reflex From Pain, Shelter, Better Than A Thousand, and the project recording "Pour Water on It". The You're Only Young Once... EP was the only release from the hardcore punk band Side by Side. It was released as Revelation Records number 5 in 1988. Nine years later, it was rereleased as a 22-song LP. The Revelation 5b LP release was meant to combat a popular bootleg with much of the same material.

Project X was a short-lived hardcore punk/youth crew band from New York City, and also the name of their only release, being a five-track EP. The band consisted of members of other prominent NYC hardcore bands Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Side by Side and Judge.

Quicksand is an American post-hardcore band from New York City, United States, founded in 1990. Their debut self-titled EP was followed by two major label albums, Slip (1993) and Manic Compression (1995). Quicksand's sound has been compared to that of post-hardcore bands Fugazi and Helmet. The band supported their releases with extensive touring but fell short of the mainstream success anticipated by their labels. These factors and internal stress led them to separate first in 1995 and again in 1999 following a failed year-and-a-half reunion. In June 2012, Quicksand reunited for a special one-night performance and since has been playing additional live shows. The band's third album, Interiors, was released on November 10, 2017.
