Sidney Emilie Morin (born June 6, 1995) is a Canadian-American [1] ice hockey defenseman for PWHL Boston of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). As a member of the United States women's national team, she won a gold medal in the women's ice hockey tournament at the 2018 Winter Olympics in Sochi. [2]
Morin is a former captain of the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs women's ice hockey program. As a Bulldog, Morin was named WCHA Women's Defensive Player of the Year in 2017.
After graduating, she signed her first professional contract with Modo Hockey Dam for the 2017–18 SDHL season. [3] The following season, she signed with Linköping HC Dam. [4] [5] She was named SDHL Defender of the Year in 2020. [6]
After three seasons playing in Europe, Morin returned to Minnesota to join the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) for the 2022–23 season. [7] She was drafted in the ninth round of the 2023 PWHL Draft by PWHL Minnesota, but was released and signed by PWHL Boston prior to the 2024 season. [8] [9] On June 20, 2024, she signed a one-year contract extension with Boston. [10]
She won gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics with Team USA, picking up two assists in five games. [11] [12]

Pernilla Margareta Stephanie Winberg is a Swedish ice hockey retired forward, who currently serves as a commentator for C More and assistant coach for PWHL Boston. She scored 282 points across her 9 year SDHL career, winning two SDHL championships. She made over 300 appearances for the Swedish national team, winning a silver medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics.
Jennifer Lynn Schmidgall-Potter is an American ice hockey player. She is a member of the United States women's national ice hockey team. She won a gold medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics, silver medals at the 2002 Winter Olympics and 2010 Winter Olympics, and a bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics. After, she plays for the Minnesota Whitecaps of the Western Women's Hockey League, where she won the league championship and was named MVP for the 2008–09 season. She was selected to the 2010 US Olympic team and was the only mother on the team.
Haley Lyn Irwin is a Canadian ice hockey player. She was a member of the 2009–10 Hockey Canada national women's team and played for the Calgary Inferno and Montreal Stars of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL) and played for the University of Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs in the NCAA. She served as Canada's captain in a gold-medal winning effort at the 2014 4 Nations Cup in Kamloops, British Columbia.
The Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs women's ice hockey team plays for the University of Minnesota Duluth at the AMSOIL Arena in Duluth, Minnesota. The team is a member of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) and competes in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) in the Division I tier. The Bulldogs have won five NCAA Championships.
Jocelyne Dawn Marie Larocque is a Canadian ice hockey player for PWHL Toronto of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She previously played in the PWHPA, with the Calgary Inferno and Markham Thunder of the Canadian Women's Hockey League (CWHL), the Calgary Oval X-Treme and Manitoba Maple Leafs of the Western Women's Hockey League (WWHL), and the Minnesota Duluth Bulldogs of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA). With the Bulldogs, she was a two-time NCAA Women's Ice Hockey Tournament champion. Larocque is of Métis heritage and was the first indigenous athlete to participate in the women's ice hockey tournament at the Winter Olympics.
Erika Maria Grahm is a Swedish retired ice hockey forward and current general manager of Brynäs IF Dam in the Swedish Women's Hockey League (SDHL). During her playing career, she was a two-time Olympian with the Swedish national ice hockey team. She is the fourth highest scorer in the history of the SDHL and all-time leading scorer for Modo Hockey, who she captained from 2010 until her departure in 2018.
Hannah Brandt is an American professional ice hockey centre for PWHL Boston of the Professional Women's Hockey League (PWHL). She was named to the United States women's national ice hockey team, which represented the United States at the 2012 IIHF Women's World Championship. She won the 2012 Minnesota Ms. Hockey Award.
