Siempre Es Hoy (Spanish for It is always today) is the third album by Argentine rock musician Gustavo Cerati.
The album was advertised as "Cerati's Rock Album", however, it has a more of an electronic style than rock. Music critics were pleased with Siempre Es Hoy, giving it ratings ranging from 4 to 5 stars.
Some of the songs were remixed for the 2003 album, Reversiones: Siempre Es Hoy . These songs were remixed by several guest musicians including Leandro Fresco, Bostich from Nortec Collective, Miranda!, Kinky and DJ Orange, all to various electronic-music styles.

Gustavo Adrián Cerati was an Argentine musician, singer-songwriter and record producer, who gained international recognition for being the leader, vocalist, composer and guitarist of the rock band Soda Stereo. He is widely considered by critics, specialized press and musicians as one of the most important and influential artists of Latin rock. Billboard magazine ranked Cerati as the 33rd best rock singer of all time.
Miranda! is an Argentine electropop band formed in Buenos Aires in 2001. Original band members include Alejandro Sergi, Juliana Gattas, Lolo Fuentes (guitar), Bruno de Vincenti (programming), and Nicolás Grimaldi (bass). It is currently a duo between Sergi and Gattas.

Bocanada (Puff) is the second solo album by Argentine rock musician Gustavo Cerati, released by BMG International on 28 June 1999. The album, an eclectic mix of neo-psychedelia and trip hop with a variety of styles, is considered by critics and fans as a highlight in Cerati's career and one of his best albums. His first album release after the breakup of Soda Stereo, Bocanada followed Cerati's time with the groups Plan V and Ocio, two bands oriented towards electronic music. "Raíz" was the album's first cut played in radio stations, "Puente" being the first music video to be released; Bocanada had the most music videos produced of any Cerati album to date.

Colores Santos is an album released by Argentine musicians Gustavo Cerati and Daniel Melero under the name Cerati/Melero in 1992. The album has a strong electronic influence which would inform Dynamo and help kickstart the electronic rock scene in Argentina. Allmusic critic Iván Adaime wrote that "Somehow this album was like a UFO in the Argentine early-'90s rock scene".
Bajofondo is a Río de la Plata-based music band consisting of eight musicians from Argentina and Uruguay, which aims to create a more contemporary version of tango and other musical styles of the Río de la Plata region. It was founded in the early 2000s as a studio experiment, which culminated into the successful album Bajofondo Tango Club. This led to touring and eventually to the current lineup. Bajofondo calls itself a collaborative as all members have solo careers as well. The group has toured around the world, particularly in Latin America, the United States, Europe and parts of Asia. Their music is known to a wider audience than those who know their name as their music has been used in film and television.

Widely considered to be Soda Stereo's most popular single, the song is considered an anthem of rock en español. The single was the last song performed at their farewell concert "El Último Concierto" in 1997.
