Siipiweikot is a Finnish restaurant chain founded in 1993 specialising in hot chicken wings, spicy sauces, french fries and beer. The Siipiweikot chain has two restaurants in Tampere. Also the Prisma store in Pirkkala has a smaller bar-style establishment where wings can be bought as take-away. [2]

Siipiweikot has become famous for furthering the hot wings culture in Finland, and its home city of Tampere has often been called "the wings capital of Finland". [3] [4] [5] The restaurant menu also offers vegetarian options based on seitan. [6] The Siipiweikot sauces are also sold for consumers in grocery stores. [7]

The business of the restaurant chain is handled by the limited company Hot Wings Oy. In 2020 the company's revenue was 4.8 million euro, and the annual profit was 472 thousand euro. [1] The current CEO of the company is Laura Yli-Houhala, who is the daughter of the company founder Pekka Yli-Houhala. [8]

The Commerce house is a five-floor residential and business building in Tampere, Finland, located along the Hämeenkatu street and the Tampere Central Square at the so-called Jugendtori square, built in 1899. The building represents the Art Nouveau style and was designed by the Helsinki-based architecture bureau Andersin, Jung ja Bomanson. The name of the building comes from the French word commerce, meaning business or commerce.

<i>Kikka!</i> 2022 Finnish film

Kikka! is a 2022 Finnish drama film about the Finnish singer Kikka, who died in 2005. The film was written by Maarit Nissilä and directed by Anna Paavilainen. In the film, Kikka is played by Sara Melleri. Paula, Kikka's DJ and journalist friend is played by Elena Leeve, Kikka's husband Henkka by Jakob Öhrman, Ilkka Vainio by Aku Hirviniemi, Juha Vainio by Martti Suosalo and Asko, the boss of the record company by Kai Vaine.
