Sikkim Institute of Science and Technology (SIST), is a state government engineering college located at Chisopani, South Sikkim, India. [1] It offers undergraduate (B.Tech.) engineering degree courses and is affiliated with the Sikkim University. The institution is regulated, operated, and administered by the Government of Sikkim. This college is the only state government engineering college in Sikkim. [2]
The college offers different undergraduate courses in Engineering and aims at imparting technological education in Sikkim. Presently this college is offering B.Tech. degree courses via two departments: [3]
The candidates are admitted on the basis of the class 12 marks.

National Institute of Technology Calicut, formerly Regional Engineering College Calicut, is a public technical university and an institute of national importance governed by the NIT Act passed by the Parliament of India. The campus is situated 22 kilometres (14 mi) north east of Kozhikode, on the Kozhikode–Mukkam Road. It was established in 1961 and was known as Calicut Regional Engineering College (CREC) until 2002. B.M.S. College of Engineering or Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering (BMSCE) is a private engineering college in Basavanagudi, Bangalore, India. It was started in 1946 by Bhusanayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah and is run by the B.M.S. Educational Trust. It is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University and became autonomous in 2008. BMSCE is located on Bull Temple Road, Basavanagudi, diagonally opposite to the famous Bull Temple. Though a private college, it is partially funded by the Government of Karnataka.
