Silent Screams are an English metalcore band formed in Coventry, West Midlands, England, in 2007. The band currently consists of lead vocalist Joel Heywood, guitarists Ozzi Osman and Sam Varney and drummer Adam Mallabone and bass-player and vocalist Tom Craig. The band released two EP: Ghosts on 2008, and Hope Is the Assurance of Fools on 2009; and two studio albums: When It Rains on 2011, and Hope for Now on 2014.

History

The band released a self-produced EP "Ghosts" in 2008. In 2009, the band released their second EP "Hope is the Assurance of Fools", produced by Matt Hyde (As I Lay Dying, Gallows and Funeral for a Friend), [1] in an edition of 1000 copies. In 2011, the band signed with the label Ghost Music [2] to release their debut album with the producer Joey Sturgis (The Devil Wears Prada, Asking Alexandria, Miss May I). The album When It Rains was released on 24 October 2011.

In 2012, the lead vocalist James Ryan announced his departure of the band. In 2013, the band announced to Joel Heywood as the new lead vocalist, and with him, the band released a new song "The Way We Were". [3]

In 2014 the band signed with Artery Recordings to release their second album Hope for Now on 22 July 2014. On 18 June 2015, the band released a music video for the song "Everything Overcome".

On 26 November 2015, bassist Tom Craig announced he would be leaving the band. The same day, the band announced they would be releasing a new song, "Everything Ends", the song featured Landon Tewers of The Plot in You. On 16 February 2017, the band announced their new band-member Mikey Scrivens on bass-guitar and also responsible for vocals. [4]

The band had performed from 2011 through 2016, but drummer Aaron Lunsford announced, on August 16, 2016, that the group disbanded. In December 2017, As Cities Burn reunited and went on tour to open up for Emery, and announced that they were staying together and writing new music.

They were signed to Victory Records before deciding not to renew their contract with the label, and have released three full-length albums; Guidebook for Sinners Turned Saints in 2008, They Said a Storm Was Coming in 2010 and Rebel-Revive in 2014.

Hopes Die Last is an Italian post-hardcore band from Rome, formed in 2004. Previously signed to StandBy Records, the band has self-released their latest EP. At the time of their breakup the line-up consisted of Daniele Tofani, Marco Mantovani and Luigi Magliocca (guitar). To date, the band has released two studio albums and three EPs.

Close to Home (band) American post-hardcore band

Close to Home was an American post-hardcore band from Cincinnati, Ohio, United States, that was formed in 2005. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums, Picture Perfect; their major label debut, Never Back Down, which was released on February 15, 2011; and their most recent effort, Momentum, which was released July 31, 2012 via Artery Recordings. Close to Home has toured across the United States and Europe with bands such as Silverstein, Emery, Dance Gavin Dance, In Fear and Faith, We Came as Romans, and Electric Callboy. They have also participated in 2010 and 2012's Scream It Like You Mean It tours. On December 10, 2010, they signed with Artery Recordings; however this contract has been fulfilled. The band was previously managed by Outerloop Management. Close to Home is commonly depicted as CTH.

The Color Morale American metalcore band

The Color Morale is an American metalcore band from Rockford, Illinois, formed in 2007. The band includes vocalist/keyboardist Garret Rapp, guitarists Devin King and Aaron Saunders, bassist Mike Honson, and drummer Steve Carey. Rapp and Carey are the only two members of the original line-up that remain in the band. The group was signed to Fearless Records before they went into a hiatus in 2018. Their second album, Instinct, was released on March 15, 2011. Instinct reached number 1 on the Billboard Heatseakers Albums chart and number 111 on the Billboard 200 for the week of April 2, 2011. Secrets is an American metalcore/post-hardcore band formed in San Diego, California in 2010. After being signed to Rise Records in 2011, Secrets released their debut full-length album, The Ascent, in January 2012. The record debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and became the first Velocity Records release to appear on the Billboard Top 200, debuting at No. 185.

Trophy Eyes Australian punk rock band

Trophy Eyes is an Australian punk rock band from Newcastle, formed in 2013. They are currently signed to Hopeless Records. The band currently consists of vocalist John Floreani, bassist and backing vocalist Jeremy Winchester, lead guitarist Andrew Hallett, and drummer Blake Caruso. Myka Relocate Defunct American metalcore band

Myka Relocate was an American metalcore band formed in Lafayette, Louisiana in 2007, later based in Houston, Texas. The band has released three studio albums, Self Portrait as a Frozen Father, Lies to Light the Way and The Young Souls in addition to taking part in four annual South by So What?! music festivals between 2012 and 2015 as well as the 2016 SO WHAT! Music Festival. The band is credited with being able to successfully combine electronic elements, guttural screaming and pop vocals.

The Glorious Sons are a Canadian rock band from Kingston, Ontario. Formed in 2011, the band signed with Black Box in 2013. Since then, The Glorious Sons have released one EP, Shapeless Art, and three full-length albums; The Union, which was released on September 14, 2014, and their second album Young Beauties and Fools, which was released on October 13, 2017, and finally A War On Everything released September 13, 2019.
