Silver Creek Central School District is a public school district serving Silver Creek, New York. The district has three schools to serve students in prekindergarten through grade 12.
In 2009, Silver Creek High School ranked 69th out of 131 Western New York high schools in terms of academic performance. [2]
Organized education in Silver Creek dates back to 1823. Classes were held in one-room schoolhouses and other locations until a two-story schoolhouse was constructed in the early 1860s. That building was replaced in 1879 and the first graduation took place in 1882. A separate grade school building was constructed in 1897, followed by a junior-senior high school building in 1920. These buildings are known as the Babcock Avenue School (converted into apartments in the 1980s) and the Main Street School. The school district was centralized in 1956 and the current high school building on Dickinson Street began construction in 1958.
The Silver Creek Central School campus contains the elementary, middle, and high schools. As of 2009, the school is undergoing approximately $9 million in construction, including renovation and upgrades to the air conditioning and electrical systems. [3]
The school's athletic teams, known as the Black Knights, compete in New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section 6 D - Central. Teams are fielded in baseball, basketball, bowling, cross country, football, golf, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, track and field, volleyball, and wrestling.
Markham District High School is a public high school in the city of Markham, Ontario, Canada. It is one of 32 high schools in the York Region District School Board. Until the 2016–17 academic year, it was the only publicly funded school within York Region which had a non-semestered system. In the 2016–17 academic year, the school switched to a semestered system.

Beaverton High School is a public high school located in Beaverton, Oregon, United States. The original schoolhouse, called Beaverton Public School, opened in 1875 on land between Canyon Road and Broadway Street. In 1902, a ninth grade class was added, followed by a 10th grade in 1910 and 11th grade in 1915. Voters approved a $21,000 bond issue submitted by the school board in 1915 to construct a 21-room high school building on land south of Second Street between Stott Street and Erickson Street.

Strang School District No. 36, or the Strang Public School, is a historic school located in Fillmore County, Nebraska, in the village of Strang. The school is one of the two sites listed on the National Register of Historic Places in the village of Strang. The school building is a small, two-story, brick public schoolhouse, which was built to replace the schoolhouse that was previously located on that site. The schoolhouse was built between 1929 and 1930, and replaced the previous schoolhouse, which burned down in 1928. The schoolhouse still retains all original building materials. The school served high school students from 1930 to 1951, and still functions as a school today, serving grades K–8. The NRHP listing also includes a flagpole located outside the schoolhouse, and five pieces of playground equipment.
